I'm a bit of a hoarder of any item really (I know staff doesn't like it, but, yanno, it helps a lot with Recycle beast) and so I tend to just buy up any item I find at less than 1000 sP. I keep track while questing and check my own shop after autopricing for any. But I was wondering if there was a way to just see what items are selling for less than 1000 sP in the shop search? SubetaLodge doesn't work, their prices are too outdated to work. I haven't been able to find a way, but maybe I'm just missing something. Does anyone know?

There's really not an easy way to do it. My method for buying up cheap items to frag is just to autoprice my shop and take out everything under my price threshold, then buy all the copies of each item from the shop search. When I get to the last item or two, I just pick one of the shops that has the item in it and scan through for cheap items and then buy those up, and repeat. It's still very time-consuming but it's the only way I know of

Hmm. Yeah I've been doing that too. Found a shop that has tons of cheap items at hoard quantities, so I just go through that, But yeah it's pretty time consuming, so I was hoping for a better way. :x

Our prices are all updated every few days so it is at least a very good guideline for a starting point.

You could try posting on the Advertising/Wanted forums and just ask for people who have cheap items in their shops to post their shops! That might be at least a bit easier than trying to find the shops yourself.

I know, for items that stay in shops at a regular price, they're fine, but for below 1k items, it doesn't work. They tend to be gone after 2 to 3 days (I assume I'm not the only one doing this sort of thing), so SL is out of date. Trust me, I've tried it, but the supposed 'lowest priced item' would be around 5k or sometimes even more. And much further down the list there would be a 900 sP item. SL is great for checklists and such and I love it, but it doesn't work for this.

, that might be an idea, I can ask people to do that '<1001 sP items' thing, which just lists all the 1000 and lower items. I just don't know how much effort people are willing to go to for what would (for them) amount to maybe 20k tops... ^^;

Honestly though, because the prices fluctuate so quickly, the best thing you can do probably is make a wishlist of items that frequently fall below 1k, and sort the wishlist by price every day (it's a bit more up to date than SL, but still cached) to try and catch them.

For a start, you could look at the items for sale in the Pawn Shop (they're usually pretty cheap in user shops) as well as r1-r65 items that have a low official price (like a lot of the items in baked goods, rathskeller inn, etc)

That's a pretty good idea. I've started making a category in my hoard shop of items that go below 1000 quite often so I can check that, otherwise a wishlist would work too. Thanks, those are good ideas. ^^
