Hello! Hopefully I'm not too late. I see it's past June 4th but you still have Tearling, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. :)

I am not familiar with the novel, Queen of the Tearling, though I gather from a brief internet search that is a future dystopian novel a la Hunger Games or Divergent. That's cool, but if I had this pet, I would go in a completely different direction.

My pets basically fall into three categories: nostalgic pets, character sketches, and visitors from the pound. Right now, all pets after Cheery Bee on my profile are pound visitors - basically, pets whose name/color combination sparked an idea in me and I'm keeping them around a bit to see if I like them. Sometimes they gain a more permanent place in my pets, and sometimes I let them go in hopes they'll end up with someone who'd like them more. My nostalgic pets include fan pets like Weeping Angels and Trycera, name carryovers from other pet sites like Anwamae and Reverai, and influences from real life like Heidy (my RL cat's name) and Uoa. Character sketches - i.e. pets who have a vague story in my head which doesn't usually go past the titilating but brief exposition - include Kalihandra, Fa, and Psyche. And there are some that fit in both categories, like Anozira, Coax and Inkeri.

I'm a fairly casual player who finds enjoyment in the aesthetics and analytical parts of the game the most. To that end, I have been working on a uniform template for my pets' pages. Star Whale's has the most complete version, but there are several others who have pretty neat TCs. I also like to try and get all my pets' stats even, though that's a battle I will probably lose, to my perfectionist's sorrow.

Tearling would fit in as a character sketch. I'm not sure how the word is pronounced in the book, but I'm pronouncing it as rhyming with yearling - the first syllable as synonymous to the product of crying, not a rip. I haven't finalized a look yet but the impression I have is something to do with water and youthfulness. My favorites thus far are the Chibi 886, the Angelic Cybill, and the Chibi 0101. If there was a Chibi 3877, that would be kinda cool - baby whale! - but alas, it doesn't exist yet. Whatever her final form is will influence her character, so my idea is fairly vague now. However, don't take that to mean I'm only mildly interested. I wouldn't have applied here if I didn't really want her; plus, I find that some of my favorite pets are the ones it took some time to get to know.

I also like Tearling because she was born in October and I'm partial to October babies, since I am one myself. ^_^

Hello :) If you are still adopting out Rhaegal, I am very interested! I don't have a whole lot planned this moment but I am a huge Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire fan. I have read all his books out thus far and have watched the entire TV series as well. My plan is to collect as many GOT characters as possible! I just got Daario today so I'm pretty excited about that ^_^ sorry this isn't awfully long and pretty straight to the point. I'm sorry I missed this one, I have been offline for the past couple of days. As far as I am aware, the pronunciation is not really brought up in the book, but I too pronounce it tear as in crying rather than rip. That said - I really appreciate you taking so long to explain what you'll do with her. If you still want her, I can send you a friend request and transfer her. I really like the rainbow stat bars you have on some of your pets by the way.

I can't say for certain how much better I will be but I will definitely provide Rhaegal with a loving home! I have quite a few items in mind already for their treasure chest :) and will commission artwork to go along with a profile!
