While I don't have any myself, I've heard, seen, and read about all kinds of uncommon and unorthodox pets, and is love to hear about yours ^w^ What animal do you have? How has raising/living with it been compared to more traditional pets? What special needs do they have? And of course, heap on those funny stories! And if you don't own any, have you had any cool animal encounters?

Again, I don't own any currently, but I plan on having a slew of crazy animal friends and pets as soon as I have the room and money. A savannah cat, fox, raven or crows (or both!), possums (I think they're adorable), snakes, rats. I could go on. As for encounters, I've had the opportunity to feed a tiger cub and play with a couple others, and at one point I helped take care of screech owlets for a few weeks. It was amazing to watch them grow, their eyes open, them learn to stand on our fingers, and see their tiny heads bob while their eyes expanded and contacted. Ugh, I miss them, but they ended up at a sanctuary.

my friend had a gray crow, and i help taking care of him/her. - we dont know its gender.

challenges: quite a few, to be honest. for someone who didnt have birds before, the challenged and things we learned on our own, im even surprised he is still alive :/ sometimes it refuses to eat, and it picks its tail. like plucking it. we found it when it was a baby, and it was ill due to lack of food for several hours and cold rain, for several hours. we thought it would die, but it didnt. we got attached to the poor bird, and now, 3 years later .. we still have it. lol i assume ravens would be even more difficult :/ and it was hard to find info for caring for a crow.

funny moments: when it flies on my head and when it answers back to us - when we talk to her.

I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
