So ive got 12 cans of chunk chicken. 1 can of mixed veggies tons of can corn,can green beans.self rising flour and all purpose flour.electric crock pot and a electric skillet.

So I got thinking and remembered a dish I ate years ago Banquet Home-style Bakes Creamy Chicken & Biscuits. Is there a way I can recreate the dish using the things I have?

Sure! Using this recipe as a guide. Do you also have butter and milk? Step 1 - Make some simple biscuits. Biscuit recipe or biscuit recipe (Most chicken and biscuits recipes use pre-made dough but homemade is even better!) I've made biscuit dough with water and vegetable oil in the past - it's just a little more bland. Step 2 - Mix the chicken along with its water, veggies, a little water and some butter with liberal amount of seasonings like salt, pepper, garlic/onion powder if you have it, etc. in the crockpot. (These last 3 things are to replace a can of soup or a bouillon cube as the "gravy".) You might also add a little bit of flour to the water to thicken it up once it cooks, but that's optional. Step 3 - Since all the ingredients except the biscuits are cooked, I would recommend putting the biscuits on top before you even turn on the crock pot. Then turn it on and cook until the biscuits are cooked through and the chicken/veg/gravy is nice and hot.

no milk.I have some butter and I think shortening.I made biscuits once with water some kind of flour and shortening but I don't remember if that's all I used..

edit: Oops its canned tuna not chicken.sigh..didn't read he label just seen the picture and thought oh chicken but not its tuna.SO far been making tuna sandwich tuna mixed with miracle whip put on bread.It was given to me during my towns flood red cross gave out 2 pallets of it per house.So I have 12 cans per pallet.Local mission gave me 2 loafs of bread.So things are slim.Man what am I going to do with all this tuna?? Im going to get so sick of sandwich plus I don't have enough bread to use all the tuna up.

You can mix the drained tuna with 1 tablespoon of miracle whip and 1 egg, then fry that mixture, and you'll get a tuna patty. That's my favourite way to use canned tuna. You can also make tuna pasta. Or even tuna and biscuits - obviously it won't taste the same as chicken, but it'll still be good. You could put it into soup, or spread it onto bread and then melt cheese on top.

Obviously you might not have all those ingredients. ):

i really like tuna salad... like adding some to chopped cucumber and red onion or whatever ever vegetables (i like cukes for the crunch) and then drizzling on some olive oil/lemon for a light dressing, season and bam. its tuna but not so canned.

wish i could cook for you or give some primo ingredients. what you have is great but needs some freshness T_T might sound bad but maybe a casserole? honestly i love me some tuna and noodle mushed together (not sure if you have that, just throwing out suggestions that encorportate tuna and other canned goods).

ive got 20 eggs.no cheese no fresh anything.Everything is canned other than the eggs.I do have basil,salt,and pepper. I will keep the homemade version of the home-style bake in back of mind for future.

all my veggies are canned.Green beans,corn,can of mixed veggies that's pretty much it other than the tuna and ive got canned tomato sauce.

I got a check in the mail for my faulty fish tank.(filter and light where bad) 15 dollars worth but no place to cash it everything closed up early for memorial day.SO I got to get dog food but what ever is left will go toward groceries.

any suggestions on what I should get to go with the tuna? I should have about 10.00 after I buy dog food cause I also got 5.00 gift card that I found in my room and checked its still got 5.00 on it and does not expire so thats a 10.00 sack of dog food and 10.00 in groceries.

• Bagged rice.
• Dry beans or lentils. (You can make those in the crock pot from dry.)
• Pasta.
• Milk.

Those will hold you over for a while. Rice and beans are really cheap and nutritious.

Omelettes are very easy to do and you can use canned food.

lost my internet for a few days do to a storm.I may not have electric in the morning..Can't pay the bill reported bank card as stolen and bank did not cancel it so person who stole it spent over 300.00 which was supposed to go to my electric company.Bank said they don't know why card wasn't canceled.Bank won't do anything about it even though it's there fault for not canceling it.

anyway I do have dried pinto beans.Me and rice don't always get along..I can't seem to cook it properly. my main things I got right now is all that canned tuna and some canned veggies.I might make veggie soup..don't I just through the cans of veggies in crockpot for awhile ?I might be able to find some cheap chicken broth to add to it.

Unless your bank is scheming and has poor coverage, they are supposed to cancel your card and protect you from fraud and theft. If they have a website, try to find where they mention their coverage regarding your issue. If YOU have called to get your card canceled, then it should be covered. If you didn't call, it's your fault tho. The bank cannot guess you were stolen.

I would not cook canned food in a crockpot. They are already soft and the texture would be awful once it's out. If you can afford a bag of pasta from the dollar tree, you can make some sort of pasta bake with your canned veggies and tuna.

I did call my bank and tell them it was stolen I even wen't to police station and filed a report cause that's not all that was stolen.So yes it's the banks fault for not stopping the card it was used 3 days after I told the bank it was stolen.

Is there any policies that you can find online regarding your bank concerning the refund of your money or, a sort of protection?

Ive not even got my replacement card in the mail..So Im going to have to contact them.Bad part my towns flood took out some of the banks so things are kinda a mess.

Luckily my electric company gave me 2 extra days.Had to sign several papers at the bank on the transaction thief did.

One bad thing it's hot I got no air unit just a fan so cooking anything is like a no no.So been making sandwich. Down to half a loaf of bread.Had to put 5.00 in car for gas so I only had 4.00 left after getting 3 pound bag of dog food which I used a 2.00 off coupon.Car would not make it to place I had gift cards for.It won't even start today 2 things going out in it going to cost 75.00 to put it in shop its under warranty but they don't pay the 75.00 they just cover parts and labor and it has to go in there shop or or it voids the warranty.

we do have a local commodities place but it only gives like a can of green beans,can of corn,box of cereal and that's once a month. Honestly I got so much green beans and corn I got 0 clue what to do with it. We have a local food bank once a month but it's like a nightmare.Parking is horrible sometimes there is no place to park and you wait in the line for hours.

Before getting a new card, you should be concerned of the money that you were stolen. You have to make sure that your bank will refund the money you've lost. As for sandwiches, you can make different kind without getting bored of them.

Did you find the information online? If their policy is to refund money stolen by a third party of a thief, they are forced to give you the amount that was stolen. If it's cleary written somewhere, you need to tell the police and charge will be pressed. I'm surprised if they aren't doing anything. @ moon12216 [edit] The only valid reason to not get the money back would be:

1. Declared stolen card too long after being victim of a fraud
2. Policy concerning refund is not included
3. Void account or account not covered (this happens when you don't have enough funds OR if you willingly gave your digits away and got caught doing it in the past) Or any other reason but I'm surprised you wouldn't be covered.

no I don't see anything online about it.Police caught person who had my stuff but nothing other than the wallet was recovered.Only reason police wen't after the person was for a different matter where person stole from a restaurant.They found my wallet on the person so ya cops did nothing to person for stealing from me.
