I have some exciting news for you all today! We're going to the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! The Department of Education over at MACUSA (The Magical Congress of the United States of America, for those that may not be aware) has reached out to the Ministry of Magic and the Board of Governors to invite us to compete in a Triwizard Tournament!

Now, you may have heard about the last Triwizard Tournament that Hogwarts participated in and hosted. This Triwizard Tournament will be a bit different than that one, not least of all being that it will not be life threatening.

Anyway, I will not bore you with all of the details just yet. Let me get right down to why I'm here today. We have been working with our counterparts in America to put together an exciting tournament, and we have had many schools come forward expressing their interest in competing as well. However, as the name suggests, there is only room for three schools. This is where you come in! We are looking for your feedback on what the third participating school should be. To keep things simple, we ask that you cast your vote.

Let me take a moment to thank everyone who has provided us feedback over the past few weeks and voted in our first round of voting! The schools we vote on today are based on your feedback. Sorry for all the secrecy--the rest of the board and officials at MACUSA thought it best to keep it confidential until we were ready to officially announce.

The schools we have narrowed it down to are as follows:

• Mahoutokoro School of Magic (located in Japan)
• Koldovstoretz (located in Russia)
• Alexandrian Academy for the Arcane Arts (located in Egypt)

Please cast your vote by posting here by Saturday, June 3rd at 8:00PM. You may only vote for ONE SCHOOL, so choose carefully!

Schools as a whole will be competing, not just champions! All students will earn points for their school. Champions will still be chosen, but their role will be a bit different than what is traditional.

There will be a system for sorting students into one of the three schools. Some students will be remaining as Hogwarts students, while some will be assigned to Ilvermorny and the third participating school. We would like to also note, to make things clear, that just because you vote for a school does not mean you will be joining that school.

New characters are encouraged! Students will be assigned to schools with enough time to properly create characters before the tournament starts.

More details will be forthcoming when this round of voting has been completed.
