hi, welcome to subeta! an easy way to get currency is by doing quests!

we're also in the middle of a holiday and you can turn flowers in to people's profiles to get vesnali tokens, the holiday currency, which you can spend at esther's shop for nice holiday items!

A lot of people in the Profile & Graphics market sell profiles, but there are also some free resources like this one and this one to help you get a nice looking profile set up :)

There's also a website called subetalodge, which has some premade profiles under the 'graphics' tab c:

sorry for my late reply, i was at a hockey game (lol). ANYWAY -

for the quests: I would recommend putting the quest widget in your sidebar. This tells you how many quests you've done and how many you have left to do, and it resets every day. It also has direct links to each quest! You can put it in your side bar by going to personal > dashboard > widgets. under the 'add widget' category, click Quests (add).

for the flowers: when you go to esther's shop, it displays this text on the top:

Welcome to my shop!

You have 3,117 Vesnali Coins! Click here to turn in all of your Vesnali Coins from your inventory.

Click the 'here' link to turn in the coins you've gotten from flowering people/being flowered.

me, code? youre funny. :P i know the very basics of coding. its sad, because im a computer science major. hey, you probably already know this, but if youre looking for some profiles for free, you can snoop through the graphics forums for freebies or base codes that can be easily customized, just make sure to leave credit where due. that's how i got my user profile, and some of my pet profiles. (the ones that actually look decent) vesnali was your first holiday, huh? how'd it go for you? did you get everything you wanted from the shop? vesnali is my fave, but its probably because im a spring baby. (taurus, yo) (also, if you dont mind being bombarded with questions, what's your zodiac? im totally into zodiac)

yes vesnali was my first holiday! i got everything from the 2017 shop and half of the 2010 shop and i only played for a few days of that holiday so im proud of myself XD i could of gotten more if i played from the start of it :O I dont mind questions XD im a leo :3 born in the hot month of august :p

in that case, i would browse the forums for people giving out freebies. as sprite mentioned, there are resources available. i hope im not repeating information here, but theres a forum under Profiles & Graphics Market that is called Profiles & Graphics Freebies. people do it for practice with their coding skills. some of the codes of premade customizable profiles even come with instructions within the code that you can follow. very cool stuff.

also about the vesnali stuff, you could still go through the shops and add things to your WL. and theres always next year. you did well for your first year though, im really impressed!

you seem to be really getting the hang of things quickly, you probably know just about as much as i do. :P

what's your forte? what on this site are you most interested in so far? (avatars, collections, pets, etc...?)

hmm tbh i love everything Collections is my number one because i am such a huge hoarder in every game i play :c When i found out you can collect plushies and stickers, etc... >.> i was instantly hooked. I want them all for every collection XD I LOVE avatars but i need to get better with them :c The one i have right now is the reason why im 100% broke XD i really need to start saving up again. I love pets just as equally. I know i would love my pets more if i was good at coding cute profiles or drawing css for them or writing lores... I have to buy all those things individually. I hate it and I wish i was talented :c

you have a GA thats really helpful. another way to make money is vending! use the tokens you get from the wizard to vend items to stick in your shop. since youre a GA user, you have autoprice, so having a lot of items wont be such a pain. another perk: you get twice as many vends with a GA! :D most of my income just comes from that, because im not that talented with restocking in the main shops, but thats another good way to make money. lurking in the shops for rare items to resell. not my strong suit, but it could possibly be yours.

stickers are so much fun to collect, the only bad part is that you cant stick stickers to yourself. you can use the hustler to self-stick yourself but it costs 10k a sticker. however there are ALSO forums of people volunteering to stick you with stickers, which is amaaaazing. i think those forums could be found under the Achievements topic.

i love that you can see the lists of plushies and beanbags you dont have so you can buy them. usually, i just use the collection option during shop quickstock to add items i get from vending or quests into my collections. wow, another incredible GA feature! also, i just learned this maybe a month ago, but all the minions in your inventory go into your zoo if you use the collection option. its such a pain to do it one by one. the zoo is my fave collection!

it's no problem! i like talking to you, i like to help out new people. the future subeta generation!

vending machines are in different parts of the subeta world, i.e riverside, sacred lands, arctic frost, veta...etc. for example, this is a vending machine in riverside. above the vending machine are names of other machines you can vend from (from the different places.) you get different stuff from different machines, so play around a little with it! :D it costs 2 wizard tokens per vend.

as far as the collections go, in games and under the header Collection, you can select a collection (For example, "Beanbag Collection") and there should be a red button above the items that says, Show Missing Items. those are the items youre missing from your collection. there's even a handy "search user shops" option under the item so you can go searching for what youre missing.

are you at all interested in metals/trophies? when i first started i was on the grind for metals and trophies.

no problem! the vending machines are GOOD to expand plushie/beanbag/wardrobe and also just toss what you dont want in your shop! its motivation to do those pesky quests :P i wouldnt worry too much about buying beanbags/plushies just yet, adding onto the vending thing, you get lots of them through that.

I BELIEVE the easiest trophies to get right away that i can think of are two.

1. the leviathan harpooning trophy (play leviathan harpooning in games, here is a good guide to the game). i believe you have to get through level 3 before youre given a trophy.
2. adding onto that, the next is the trapped minion trophy. this is granted through feeding the minions in the wastelands. i think you only need to feed one for your first trophy, then 50 then 100, 250, and so on to upgrade your trophy.

oh, the forum title is easy peasy. -Under the Interact tab in your header tabs, click Forums. -in the header on the main page, the third to the last option is Options. click that. -the third option is a star icon that says Change Forum Title. thats what you want to click! youre done! shortcut: click this. the instructions are just so you know how to get back to it! :D
