I've been on this website for YEARS but I still can't figure out how to get one of my pets to appear under my HA when posting in the forums. I've tried looking everywhere for the answer and I can't find anyone that has asked about it. Does it have to do with spotlight? Idk.. I just want to show my pet :)

Any and all help is much appreciated C: thank you!!

It's a gold account feature called Pet Leash. If you go to the Pets page, one of the options under the arrow next to each pet will be to "Leash This Pet". Not 100% sure what the text says exactly, since I don't have a gold account right now, but that's where you can find it.

Previously it was a non-GA feature that cost CSC per month (I don't remember how much though). It only recently became a GA feature
