So, I got REALLY lucky with Carl today, as I got a , (Super Rare) but there is none of the item in shops yet nor in trades, so what should I price it?

Any ideas?

First, a quick disclaimer, what I'm about to tell you is speculation, because this is a new item so there simply isn't any price history for it. I'm speculating based on similar items released in the past year.

Since this is a newly released restockable, you can price it whatever you like, but it's unlikely to sell since most players understand it's still coming into circulation and the price WILL drop. The longer we wait, the more the price will fall. It is likely to stabilize at less than 25m. (More precise estimate is difficult at this time.)

Here's an example of two Super Rare items released in February, during Survival - 3 months ago:

And this was released during Masquerade, end of March - about 1.5 months ago:

The price trend will be determined by supply and demand. The more demand and lower supply, the higher the price will be and the longer it will take for the price to fall. The reason the price will eventually drop is because the supply will increase as more of these items go out via restocking and quests. The two survival foods have high demand as achievement items, but have been in circulation longer so have fallen below 10m in 3 months. The purple veil has been around only for a bit, but is lower demand probably due to the color. The white veil has ridiculously high demand because white is an easy color to pair with outfits.

I think the orange wig will see demand similar to the white veil, it's hard to say if it is more or less. Orange may not be the most popular color, but it's uncommon (there are tons of blond, brown, and black wigs, not so many red ones) and the hairstyle itself is unique and cool. So I speculate that when more find their way into user shops, maybe in 3 months, the price will have stabilized somewhere between 10m and 20m.

If I were you, I would attempt to sell high right now and ask for around 30 - 50m. If you ask much higher, people are likely to pass and choose to wait for the price to stabilize instead. But if you ask in that range, it's more likely you'll find someone who knows it'll be cheaper later but is willing to pay a bit extra to have it right now. I haven't been able to sell new items for more than 50m before. But I have in the past managed to sell two new items at about 50m each - one was a beanbag, one was a lifelike doll. I think it does depend on luck whether you can find a buyer at 50m, but it's definitely possible, and a thing that happens.

Yea... He seems to like me when it comes to hard selling items, as Tique items tend to find their way to me, but nothing like this before, and with it not being in shops, I was a bit worried about putting it up for sale without figuring out what a good price would be, since I don't want it sitting in my shop and go down so much that I don't get a good amount for it (especially since I'm SO close to getting the 250mil shop til achievement), as things haven't been so good for the Lilac Darkonite Plushie or the Arid Lifelike Mallarchy Doll, both which I got at high prices when I won them separately but have since dropped to under 10 mil.

[edit] I've decided to set it at 35mil and see how that goes.

If you find yourself having bad luck selling, you could try to quicksale via trades. Ask for 5m - 10m for it (or somewhere around that range). A reseller may come along, or just somebody who believes the price will stay high for a while and consider that to be an amazing deal (for an item that's newly released and not in shops yet). The reason to do this through trades, is so that if somebody autoprices their shop, they won't price it at the same price as you.

Personally I think you could get much more for it, but maybe I'm just luckier at selling (???) So you might find it better to just sell a bit lower, because you may end up with more profit anyway than if you wait.

I'll try that after one round with it in the shops. I might get lucky, might not, but we'll just see...
