Major Drills asked me to play a carnival game... so I went and played Ruffie Raffle. Got one of the new Serpenth dolls too, so that was cool!

But I come back and Drills doesn't think I've played a carnival game. So I guess my question is, is Ruffie Raffle supposed to not count as a carnival game for Major Drills? And if this is how it's supposed to be... why not? It literally is a game at the carnival :)

I think it's mostly because it's a once-per-day thing. Most people visit it as part of their dailies at the beginning of the day, so they won't have a chance to make it count for Drills anyway. It's only the 3 ticket games (pond, toss, balloon) that count.

I think Bluff counts too. It's weird that the Raffle doesn't, it's not like Drills is specific which one you play. So what if most of the time you won't have the opportunity to play that one for him? Maybe the goal of this particular task it that you need both get some Wizard Tokens and then to put some Wizard Tokens in your currencies to make it work?

I'll have to check if Bluff counts the next time Drills asks me to do this. I never play Bluff because I never understood the rules... it's very confusing to me, I still have no clue how to actually play. I sat down, read the rules page, and figured it out once, but now I've forgotten. :(

I think the general goal of Drills is to get you to do things and explore the site haha. Like I didn't know what galaxan wastelands were until I had to feed a minion there for Drills. I also would never play spectrail if not for Drills. I guess in that sense maybe ruffie raffle is excluded since it's a daily so most people will do it anyway. But logically I feel like it should count since it is a carnival game, and that's all that is asked for, is to play a carnival game...

i think the only carnival games that count are the ones where you actually have to spend wizard tokens to play. ruffie raffle isn't so much a carnival game as it is just... a thing you click on to get a free item. major drills is in part designed as an sp/item sink, so it makes sense that the carnival game quest is intended to make you spend a wizard token here and there.
