The Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival will be holding its 44th Annual event THIS WEEKEND, Saturday May 6th and Sunday May 7th, 2017. I know this thread is full of gloom and doom issues from around the world, but here's something a bit more upbeat and happy.
There is a $5.oo admission fee this year, which is completely new but probably well worth it.
Have fun and take lots of pictures to share if you can make it out there for bunches of fun!
I wish I could go - and I've wanted to go since 1999 - but I have issues with being around large crowds.

there is a fair around my place, happening from time to time. they sell wool stuff and sheep skin stuff too. i went once, but it was boring.
this fair is not like in US, with other attractions other than the sellers and their goods. i want to go to a proper fair...

If you don't mind me asking, where are you from? There are fairs in the US that are as boring as watching ice melt - they tend to die off after a while. When they lose the interest of people, they can't survive.
Our local livestock show died because not enough people were interested in participating. I showed sheep and hogs there for eight years - I also showed at the Virginia State Fair :)

romania. lol i'm sure there are fairs where people go to sell and buy alive sheep too, just not in the capital, where i live XD you're very pretty! and you had a very chic sheep ;) <3
