I've been zapping my pet Nery since I made her. And I couldn't figure out why she always changed into an experiment. And then I realized.

....

My dumb ass has been selecting the Experiment-only option. Every time.

I've been on this site for 6 and a half years. >.>

Has anyone else done something really dumb while zapping that they would like to share and commiserate in our shared ineptitude? Q-Q Pls enjoy your daily lolz at my expense. headdesk

Back in the day, the zapper would just zap whoever happened to be your active pet. Eventually it got changed so that you could select whichever pet you wanted to zap.

Back when this change was still new, I completely flubbed, and ZAPPED MAIKA (my first pet in my custom order) instead of the new pet that was at the BOTTOM OF THE LIST that I WANTED TO ZAP because I WASN'T HECKING PAYING ATTENTION and Maika got changed into something weird and I had to pay to change her back into a Spectrum Demi, all because of one click where I didn't pay attention first. OTL

Needless to say, I have been insanely careful zapping ever since, bwahahaha.

I've been trying to zap Addler into , or . Changed into for a couple days. Finally decided I was gonna keep as a fire giraffe (even came up with minions for treasure and gallery) just to find that I totally forgot I zapped earlier and got a change :/

So now trying for 3 different ones ^-^

I try not to think of the sP haha so much thankfully I learned my lesson. xD

Ha, I did the exact same thing. Then I still kept zapping for way too long just trying to get a Darkonite. I still have no idea if getting one is still possible through the Zapper, because I started kicking myself once I finally realized that I could just buy an elixir.

I did get several achievements for having different types of pets/colors because of that Zapper though, so I have that going for me.

My biggest mistake was underestimating how many of the experiments I would fall in love with and not be able to keep zapping for my dream pet.
