Hi everybody!!
We are looking to introduce some aspects that deal with more international wizarding affairs... specifically, we want to put some focus on the other wizarding schools!
So we are looking for some feedback... what other schools would you be interested in learning about?
If you have a specific school from the ones posted on Pottermore (Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, Ilvermorny, etc.) post it here!
We are also looking for INVENTED SCHOOLS! So if anyone feels like putting on their creative caps and writing up a short description of a wizarding school in a different country, go crazy with it!! The more, the merrier. :)
Hello, I would love more info on Beauxbatons, it would be nice to know if there was a huge difference in curriculum between all the schools, actually, but any and all schools info would be welcome :)

I think this is an awesome idea - I would love to know about the Japan, South America, and African schools. Their culture is a lot different from the USA (where I live) so it is cool to think of how the schools would differ from Hogwarts.
I would love to help with this any way I can. Let me know what kinda help I can do.
I think a good 'made-up' school would be one from Australia or the more tropical islands. c:
This sounds like a fantastic idea! I think schools and students of Africa (like Uagadou School of Magic but also other new ones in other locations) are a highly interesting topic for me! C:
I would also be interested in wizarding school of the arctic regions of Canada/Alaska (new invented school).
I would also be highly interested in wizarding school in the Amazon (Castelobruxo) or on tropical islands (new invented school). I also second the idea of a different school that draws from New Zealand/Australia.
This probably does not narrow anything down for you, I am sorry. C:

I really really extremely want:
It even has motivational posters XD
Back to topic, I'm interested in Beauxbatons and Ilvermorny.
I always loved Durmstrang so I would appreciate more info about it. Same for other schools. Very good idea!
I am interested in all the magic schools on pottermore.. I also think China, India, Scandinavia and the Middle East (in Iran or so...?) would have their own (new) schools.. Perhaps Russia too.. and Australia and Canada.. just the more the merrier. :D and Egypt used to have one, but then the huge library of Alexandria burned and lots and lots of knowledge was lost or so muggles were meant to think.. ;)
I would like to know a lot more about Beauxbatons and Castelobruxo in particular. They would help build my character and her family history.

I am really excited for this. I think any location would be interesting, though some are obviously more challenging than others. Any Canadian school would have to be created with respect to the terrible history of residential schools, for instance. The best new school would probably be whichever one is created with the most input from people who are part of the corresponding culture. I find that's when the writing is most likely to feel natural and immersive.
I would definitely be interested in learning more about other wizarding schools, especially since Keet is a transfer from Ilvermorny. :D
Beauxbâtons?! I'd love to help if you plan to do anything with this school :D I'd like to learn about any schools possible, more data is always better ^^
Yay!! So many times this! When the descriptions of other wizarding schools came out on Pottermore I was so excited. My current OC is a transfer from Durmstrang but I also have an OC that I created from Castelobruxo. I would definitely be interested in more about those as well as Mahoutokoro. Possibly Ilvermorny as well but I think we might see more lore coming about that in the next Fantastic Beasts Installment.

This is a great idea! I'm interested in all the schools. My OC's boyfriend attends Durmstrang and I did the workshop on different schools last term. I'm open to learning about all the schools.
That sounds like a fantastic idea. My character is already an alumni from a Wizarding school in the Canadian Arctic, but unfortunately I don't remember the name of it, only that it's an ice castle. I'm at the Library so can't look it up right now.

I think this is a wonderful idea, and I really like how the cult brings even more diversity to the Potterverse. If you need, I could help more with Castelobruxo, since I'm from Brazil and familiar with the kind of educational system they could use.
For other schools, I second everyone who talked about Uagadou and Mahoutokoro. Especially since Uagadou is supposed to specialize in wandless magic!!
For a made-up school, I always did wonder why there aren't Hindi, Chinese nor Middle-Eastern magical schools, since they're such ancient civilizations. And because I particularly think that only two schools for all of Africa and Asia would not be capable of attending everyone.

I'd like more information on Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, and Ilvermorny since they're the most prominent of the international schools.
This is my invented school from the Alternative Education HA Challenge during Second Term: Seondeok Masul Haggyo is located in a magically protected valley on a volcanic island in the present-day waters of South Korea. The students there are particularly interested in astronomy, Asian astrology, and reading the future using the celestial heavens. They study from observatory towers located on the hills and mountains that surround their castle. The young witches and wizards dress in silk hanboks. It doesn't get too cold in general, due to the limited cloud cover which makes the island an excellent place for stargazing. The colors of their cloaks signify their year of mastery and their clasps denote their houses.
I actually think boarding school culture is more important than anything else, considering that's what these schools are and the divide between Muggle and wizarding society.
