I've been wondering for a while what the best free image hosting site is for Subeta profile images, and looking around I see that Imgur is a popular choice, but when I looked at their TOS, it said:

It sounds like they are listing the terms as if you are using their services for your website. I've seen others who have their profile images hosted there. Is it the best? That's debatable, but it's easy and reliable enough. But if you have any important content, it should be hosted on a paid service anyways.

that sounds like they're referring specifically to, like, personal websites. like if i made myself a website but didn't want to host the media on my own server and instead just uploaded it all to imgur and embedded it on my site, that would violate their terms. but using it to host profiles and other stuff is almost definitely fine, i would imagine.

They just don't want anything that's going to be super high traffic, because it's a burden on imgur's servers and doesn't help them at all. Your Subeta profile isn't going to bring in thousands of views a day, so it will be fine.
