You're seriously linking Fox News? Were all the serious, non-propaganda news agents down last night?

It's funny, really, because while this was going on I saw no one at work reading or watching that type of fear-monger news stations. It was a serious situation, we wanted serious news.

I work within a fairly short distance of where it happened. I should have left at 3:30 PM, but I ended up working until 1 AM today and was one of the last to leave. People were trapped in shops, schools, office buildings, children had to be picked up by neighbors because parents were stuck etc,

We knew something had happened around 3 PM, because most emergency vehicles passed by the building where I work. This was quickly followed by the Police ordering railroads, roads and subways shut down and certain stations evacuated, which happened. This was lifted late enough that train traffic could not be resumed properly during Friday night. The subway - a smaller system - had an easier time starting back up once given the all clear. Bus and car traffic avoided the city center due to road blocks.

Getting a hold of a cab was difficult until around 8 PM. I know this because we tried to remove certain important persons from the premises as soon as it was allowed, and we had to pull a lot of strings to do it.

Central Stockholm is home to a lot of government offices and the security is currently strengthened with extra guards in both private and official venues.

When I left at 1 AM, things were calm. People were sad about the deaths, a bit upset that this had happened at all, but the biggest problem my friends and co-workers complained about was that public transport was down.

I've watched the story on repeat all last night, I've finally gotten some sleep, so with all that said I'm gonna see if I have any food since I haven't eaten since 11 AM on Friday.

I know how people feel about Fox News, and I know how they feel about NBC and CNN news. That's why I provide both. Please don't judge me for providing multiple sources for multiple people to read. If you didn't know this already, news corporations spin the facts in whatever light they please and which most aligns with their political views. Not just Fox. Please keep this in mind.

I am very sorry this happened to you and your country. It's a scary time we live in, and I hope those affected by this get the help they not only deserve, but need. I am glad to know that you are safe, and wish this attack could have been prevented. I'm sorry if anything I've said so far is offensive or callous in any way, as I certainly don't mean it.
