Hi there! Forgive me if this has been answered recently/is in the wrong place. I wonder if I'm the only one that is getting multiple pings for purchases in a shop. I thought when I played a lot a while ago, there would only be one event for purchases in a shop...I'd basically just leave that event there so I wouldn't get another until I cleared it. Now I get several! Was this changed? Am I crazy?

I think if you visit the shop or the shop log in between purchases, it will ping you again when someone buys something. If you don't view the shop log every time, you only get one ping about it even if you sell more than one item.

I don't know why it's like that now, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

No problem! But yeah, when I'm trying to sell a lot of things, I'll just leave the event for a while and go look at it later if I don't want to get a new event every two seconds. Especially if it's something people tend to buy in bulk, like mage amulets and such.

you're able to turn all alerts off for shop sales too if you find the alert annoying :)

Open your shop, look for the "edit shop" tab, then look for "Receive Events:" and change it to no.

I turned off events for all my shops, but keep the shop widget on my dashboard so I can keep an eye on the amounts in till. You can add the Shop Profit widget in preferences.
