The rules on tributes seem to be designed for things from visual media; cartoons, comic books, tv shows, movies etc.
What about things from books? Here, there's no visual copyright issues to consider, and it's really hard to make 4 changes when you're working only from a short textual description that an artist would have to interpret in their own way anyway.
Hi
Have you looked at some of the tribute threads?
The problem is most of the things that are books are also visual media (hunger games, harry potter)
If you're thinking of the fandom I suspect it's so small that I doubt there'd be anything to worry about?

Yes, it's from that tiny fandom. No official visual representation of anything exists, and the author has said that none of the cover art is even remotely accurate so I wouldn't base it on those anyway.
So I wouldn't worry. :D Or if you're really concerned, ask the staff?
