I definitely wouldn't do recolours of the Feather of the Beautiful Blue Companion (that was based on my previous budgie), but there's a possibility that there could be recolours of the Vibrant Feather of the Budgie Companion at some point if Keet is willing ;) (just need to make my mind up on that!)

I am glad you like him, he was fun to draw! Paddy wanted him specifically on that shoulder so she could wear him with her other budgie. I would be happy to do recolors in the future, but that decision is of course up to her. ;)

Omg- this little green budgie looks just like my 'Tiny'! He was a rescue from a department store pet shop years ago! He was in such bad shape. He was on the floor in the bottom of a cage that had just arrived at the store and it was just pure luck that I was there. I made the employee get the store manager for me and explained how it was a miracle the poor little guy was still hanging in there. Budgies have such a high metabolism they have to eat often. He was picked at because his head was partially bald but one of the birds had to have been feeding him as his wee beak was so overgrown he couldn't feed himself. They actually gave him to me and I immediately took him to my vet! He was malnourished, had nails that almost made a circle so his legs were misshapen (he couldn't perch properly) and his poor beak was a mess. We were able to rehabilitate him though he stayed small and had crooked legs. We made special double perches for him out of natural branches. He was the absolute sweetest little bird. ❤️ Thank you for this CW that made me think of my sweet little 'Tiny' man!

Aww, that poor baby! I am so happy that you were able to rehabilitate him. He was very lucky that you rescued him, it sounds like he was a real sweetie. <3

hehe that's exactly why I like to release things unlimited - it takes the pressure off needing to buy things too quickly ;)

We had him for almost 8 years which was really good considering the start he had in life! He was probably one of the most loveable budgies I had! He also spoke a few words and loved to sing! He was such a happy little guy!
