Is anyone familiar with the Myers Brigg personality test (MBTI) (or Jungian, etc...)?
Or anything to do with Psychology, really.
Because I absolutely love it, and it would be awesome if people who also love it (or are curious) would nerd about it with me. c:
I never cared much about psychology but now I have it at school and find it highly fascinating. It's kinda cool to watch people (or yourself) and then be like "Oh, there we have a case of regression." or something like that. I would even consider to study it now, haha
I can totally relate to that! During HS I would think about the Psychology class and be told how difficult it is & so that would immediately turn me off about the subject...
So I always figured it was just more boring science that put me to sleep until I started researching deeper into the MBTI testing and such...
It was so neat to realize how much psych applies to my fascination with people & how it provided answers to my questions & ways of wording things I couldn't quite word logically myself.
Being a Paranoid Schizophrenic, I kinda live it everyday. But as for those tests, I never done one...Label me why don't you.
I have borderline personality disorder so all these test are never conclusive in my case. They never seem to fit or be "spot-on" either. That being said, I really like psychology and how the brain works etc. I'm studying in a field where it's quite handy too.
psychology is super fascinating but i don't pay attention to personality tests. they're not reliable at all but they can be fun to do.
I saw a psychologist a few years back, and she said I would make a good one, haha! I don't have the brain power (or money) to get through all the schooling though.
I took both psychology and sociology when I was in high school and really enjoyed them both. I liked learning about why we behave as we do -- both individually and as a group.
