Hey, I adopted a name-cleared pet I saw in the pound out of curiosity(the ones with the underscore and number at the end when their old owner's account went inactive), but I'm wondering; Can I change its name for free still? The Name Change screen says it costs 0 CSC to change the name but I just want to make sure xP Sorry if this is a time waster, I just wanna make sure it doesn't turn out to eat up my csc. x_x

convert all your csc to cards and then try! :3

I may try that; the problem is the name I'm looking to get isn't open just yet xP I just thought it would be neat if I could make the pet its color (Hydrus) early and then change the name when it's time, but if there's a chance it won't even work I'm not sure I want to shell out the sP for the color. x_x

Ahh nice xD Well good, I can make my pet the color and species while waiting on the name.. Why would the old owner throw away free name changes?! I hope they're aware of it, some of the pets that were in the Pound were nice colors with due name changes.

Because not everyone is aware of the fact name changes on cleared names are free ;)

i once picked up a pet that looked like it had a free name change (words followed by underscore and a few numbers) but it cost me 500 to change the name like what??? luckily i didnt have any csc on hand at the time, believing i could change the name for free. its a possibility that a name was made to look like a free name change name, so i would still take precautions doing it, idk. :T

Some people actually went and gave their pets names like Cutiepie_101 naturally. Not done maliciously, they just have weird taste in pet names
