Listening to white noise helps me. Or drinking some milk.

I think this needs to be transferred over to Chit-Chat. c:

I try to get up way earlier than I normally do and when I go to bed I take some melatonin. I normally fall asleep within an hour after taking it. Of course, if you're on any kind of medication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist to make sure taking it would be safe.

I have a really hard time sleeping, and my doctor suggested I take a $200 online course to fix it. Which I passed on.

So what I do when I REALLY need to sleep is:

-Take a really cold shower -Drink some nice ol chamomile tea AND a cup of warm milk -Read a book/mess around on the computer with the brightness waaay down -Put on ye olde RAIN ON A TIN ROOF 10 HOUR ADDITION -Try to sleep

That's what kinda works for me, but I do wake up consistently through the night every hour. So for the most part I have given up and accepted that I can't sleep until 5am.

It used to be that I'd go days without being able to sleep a full night. I would generally put on my radio on the only good radio station. Or get up and read, but nowadays I've been knocking out in ten minutes. But that comes at a cost, being put to sleep shuts me down, and I black out. Yet if I struggle to fall asleep, I can still wake up right before my alarm goes off. At 05:45...

What I've learned is that thunderstorms work for my sleeplessness, but it doesn't rain much here.

Old, and obsolete.

I slept maybe 4 hours last night, if that. I just could not go to sleep. Happens a lot to me too. I might try a white noise machine. I tried melatonin, but it messes me up the next day, makes me groggy.

It used to not be a problem to me, but recently I experience restlessness ><

This may sound silly, but I sometimes deeply pray myself to go to sleep XD works! xD credit to a friend of mine xD Scientifically says to hold your breath, and gently breathe out and breathe in and repeat the process.
