So I just had an... odd idea for a fanpet. That being, as the title suggests, a pokemon based on a glitch. So I created ZZAZZ, a data corruption glitch of the same name in generation 1.

I've had a few ideas for a species/color combo but I haven't really settled on anything. I'm willing to go for experiments, but I was mainly thinking some kind of nightmare pet? I'm not exactly 100 percent on anything. That and I would need some help with a tc, or at least just being pointed in the right direction.

first of all omg your name + leashed pet absolutely delight me, I love the EB series so much. (... and are those Tales of the Abyss fanpets I see? A+ taste in JRPGs.)

second of all!! I absolutely love this idea for a pet! Old-school Pokemon games are one of my favorite things to break, and I absolutely love all the crazy stuff that people have managed to do with them, whether it's finding glitch Pokemon and the phenomena they produce or even doing stuff like arbitrary code execution through the use of glitch items. It's just so, so cool.

It really depends on what path you want to take the pet-- would you rather it be more of a malicious glitch, or a more goofy, friendly one? Some of them are harmless, like Missingno. and 'M, some... aren't, like . 4's capabilities and the Super Glitch effect as a whole.

Scribble experiments come to mind first because of their lack of serious manner and the thought that they might be like this on a regular basis-- scribbly and not making much sense. I have a particular soft spot for the 2759, but that's just because I have one and because its pose is just silly.

If you wanted to take a spookier route, Nightmare and maybe Dark Matter pets, too, could work!

I'm especially feeling the first two because of their physiology that's all funky, like something that "shouldn't be".

as for tc, there's a lot of custom wear companions based on various 'mons, i think mostly eeveelutions), and some 'dexes + the other three pogo teams + a wearable pokeball (i don't know if any of these are private, though)

there's a number of non-cw pokeballs, though

some of the pokedolls available -- there's 20+ and outside of these seven, they can be found under "special edition betadoll" (they're all starters, including squirtle, charmander, and bulbasaur which i guess got two wears each? neat.)

also i can't believe i almost forgot , my nemesis from ye old days of gameshark and infinite rare candies lmao. if you want a more regular kind of egg, then i recommend vesnali eggs; i was so pleased when i found a cute purple one for my zorua uwu
