I am working toward the Ring on It achievement, and was wondering where the Dearest Ring (required for the achievement) is from? The item has rarity "Holiday Item". SubetaLodge says in its notes "Seasonal Love Epidemic Item"--but I haven't seen it during Survival in the many years I've played Subeta. Unusually for a holiday item, it has an official price of 22+mil but doesn't seem to be for sale anywhere. Anyone have information?

It's from waaaaaaaaaaaay back before Survival was a thing.

We used to have various real life holiday-themed items restock in the Holiday Shop, but Subeta kind of leaned away from that and invented its own holidays instead. Some stuff is still in limbo because there are just so many items and it's hard to keep track of them all.

You could try posting on this topic about adding more to the system. Amber posts there frequently, maybe she can pop it on her "add to Frag Shop" list or something?

Don't quote me on this, but I think it was a holiday item for Valentine's Day way back before Subeta decided to phase out real world holidays.

It's from Valentine's Day approximately ten million billion years ago (more specifically, I want to say it's from 2009). There used to be a Holiday Shop in the Main Shops where items like the Dearest Ring were sold, but I don't think there's anywhere you can obtain some of those items nowadays except from other users.

If you're not able to buy or trade for one right now, I could loan you mine for the achievement, but you'd have to have an item of equal value for collateral.
