Personally I'm just not into big voluminous and/or very long hairstyles, so I'd not buy it/slot no matter the color. But in general I think the design has potential. A lot opf people like to use long hair. :) I'm certainly not the best to give advice since I just started drawing CWs lately myself, but hopefully it still helps. When you look at it right now the light source seems to come from below, since the darkest part is right at the top. All overlays are supposed to have their light source come from the top left, so naturally highlights should be placed more towards top/left and shadow more towards down/right. The shading also is really harsh, like the parts between the arm and body and right around the neck look black (or at least almost black?) to me. Especially on your white version it looks way too dark. The way you express the different strands of hair looks already quite good to me on the other hand!

I unfortunately don't have a lot of time right now to give in depth help. I've got a lot of stuff to wrap up for Vesnali, and some really important IRL stuff going on.
