I'm incredibly new and still learning the ins and outs of Subeta but so far I'm picking things up fairly quickly with the help of the amazing community<3
Not a whole lot special to say about myself other than I'm an animal lover and currently work as a full time dog trainer. Hoping to go to school in the fall though for specifically what I'm not yet sure ^^' I love meeting new people and look forward to talking to many of you as I and my pet grow.
Hi welcome to the site! Glad you're finding everything okay so far!
I also love animals! I have a pitbull mix that's my absolute baby along with five other dogs that live with my parents on their ranch and I love them all to death :)
aww I love kitties too! My parents have one cat who we found as a kitten in a storm so her name is Stormy ( I was not a very creative child lol) She acts more like a dog though because of all her doggie older brothers.
I love the idea of having a pair though that must be so much fun!
ILY2❤
Two is definitely better than one! They're hilarious when they entertain each other and then adorable when they fall asleep curled up together. I've wanted a dog ever since I became a dog trainer but they aren't allowed where I live sadly.
Thats how my old place used to be... but at least you still have some entertaining fur babies! Thats adorable that they curl up together!
welcome! Oh I love animals too. I've had dogs, guinea pigs, cats, mice, rabbits, and a crow. Currently I have two dogs and a rabbit, I based my subeta pets on them. Anyway welcome to subeta! <3
I've had cats, dogs, fish, and a chinchilla at one point. A crow sounds fascinating!
Cute!!!! Yeah she was. She'd fallen out of the nest as a lil babybirdie and was picked up by some kids. I raised her by hand so she was very attached to me. When she was about half a year old I brought her to a bird sanctuary that had a special program to release tame crows back into the wild with their own new crow family group. Which was very hard. I hated having to give her up but they need to be free.
She would accompany me all through the house; when I was cooking, she'd be on the kitched cabinets. At breakfast she was on my shoulder. She even went into the bathroom with me haha. If she was hungry, she'd sit on the fridge and made like a babybird, wings flopping and head tilted backwards, beak wide open xD So cute.
Currently I have three parakeets.
Loki: the oldest and also the quietest.
Peep: the loudest. just...wow...
Lemon: is the most scared of them. The other two are very protective of her.
She was very lucky to have you. I'm glad she had a wonderful person like you to care for her!
A couple of my friends have conures. They love to talk and it always amazes me.
she was cute as heck. She took baths in an upsidedown frisbee, after which we'd chill and doze in the window sil together, her nestled in my arms. She was also a real rascal. She loved shiny things. She always took my keys and my lighters, and once she even took my sigaret out of my fingers and dropped it down the back of my robe (ouch). She would also often argue with herself in the mirror. Still miss her.
Can your friends' conures say words or just make bird sounds?
Welcome! I have a 10 months old pomeranian and he's just soo cute. Although he still needs to be trained but he's hilarious. He takes all his toys out of his home so my house is always a big mess xD
He says actual words. He loves to chit chat! She posts videos fairly often of him and it's adorable.
That's what my friend's conure does xD He has full fledged chats with himself sometimes.
Awww you could teach him to clean his toys back up again - that'd be pretty nifty!
lolllll! My floors are always littered with the shredded remains of teddy bears xD (I get them for free at the thrift store so it's all good)
hahaaha too cute! Blady (my crow's name, a mix of Blade and Lady) would get so upset with her reflection. The feathers on her head would stand straight up as she tried to impress her reflection. Of course, the "other bird" would do the same so she would get so angry xD
haha yeah that's true. But I'm not sure where to start. He still needs to learn how to pee outside and also only on his pee pad. So I think I should teach him one thing at a time or he'll be confused with the training xD
instead of shredded remains of teddy bears mine is the stuffings from my dog's bed!!! xDD
