Taint is a mostly amorphic being and was created by mankind's destruction of Mother Earth, and is known simply as the Corruption by the forest folk. Taint is a disease that spreads quickly and known to destroy entire ecosystems, as well as corrupting living creatures and transforming them into monstrous husks of themselves. It really has no conscience and functions mostly on its need to destroy and spread its pollution across the earth. While there are creatures and individuals like Lucille who are attempting to reverse its pollution, Taint only grows in power the more it 'feeds' upon the living.

Honestly, what I've written on Mantis's profile will be mostly what Taint will have. I've been writing in a nonlinear style with all of the stories that are involved with the same storyline, just so that it becomes a continuation of each character.

I'm not sure what color or species I would make Taint, but I'm leaning really towards the nightmare color. Mantis will also become involved in the same storyline, though I'm not sure what their involvement would be since I haven't thought that far. I also don't really have a design thought out yet since I've changed it so many times already, but I'll hopefully have a solid design soon.
