The boots were available through the steamworks menagerie in 2010, but they seem to have removed them from the available items. Maybe they plan on putting them out again through the antique shop?? subetalodge estimates them being worth around 400k, but as of now I could reasonably expect you getting up to 5mil from someone who wants them, maybe 2.5mil.

the feathers are from and subetalodge estimates the feathers themselves as being worth around 20 mil. The collection itself goes for 36mil.

Subetalodge prices are worthless, with the exception that a stopped clock is right twice a day.

I think you completely underestamated the price. At 2.5mil, I think that is investment/gamble grade pricing, and ended up buying it out of Queengod's shop and repricing it.

2.5mil is nothing for a 1x shop/0x trade/~20x gallery item that is not currently restocking.

I could easily get burned by a rerelease, but at 2.5mil I think the possibile sale price is closer to 25mil over a 1 year period.

Any collection item not on the shop search for cheaper should probably be priced at 20-30mil. I usually price them at 25mil.

Considering that the other colors of the boots which are Brown, White and Gray are between 100K and 350K on shop search, I'd say closer to 500K on the boots. Masquerade is coming so the stock on them was bought up, but it is far from an item I would spend 25M on.

Whoever posted that they might be rereleased isn't wrong. Probably not in the antique shop, but I'm expecting them to make a comeback eventually

Yeah, there are none on shop search, but probably hundreds in wardrobes, they're not an achievement item and they're not especially unique.

I agree with . They're not a rare item. I have them in my wardrobe and I don't care for them, really. If you want to offer me 25m for them I'd be happy to put up a trade.

I'm not saying that 25mil is what I would pay for it, but i'm saying someone might be willing to pay it, and that 2.5mil was definately underpriced for something that while not nessacarilly rare, is not readily available either.

For 2.5mil I am happy to buy a lottery ticket that more that likely ends with me losing 2mil, but that has a potential payout of 20mil.

People that have hoarded that stuff in their wardrobe don't tend to take it out of their wardrobe just to put it on shop search, as evidenced by the fact that even after you seeing the lowest shop search price at 25mil, and not really caring for the item, still did not bother to make an attempt to sell it.

I mean, the issue with all of the event shop item images loading at once has been resolved, which is why they were retiring stuff from event shops to begin with. I'm expecting to see a slew of unretirements of old event shop items this year, and not just for Masquerade.
