I have a simple question: is there any way to get my pets hungrier? I'd like to get the title "The Gourmand", but it seems to be a long road...

I think it's just a case of waiting for the pet to become hungry again...hence why it takes so long! It's definitely a long term goal :P

this Achievement is intended to be a long term project. There is a way to speed things up but it's not necessarily any easier. If you train a pet up to Tier 6 you can equip your Armory with a Malerias Clawed Glove. One of the side effects of using this weapon in battle is that random pets of yours other than the one fighting have bad things happen to them and one of those things is to become famished.
