What are funny moments that's happened to you because you forgot something?

This week after getting home from work discovered a package from Shanghai China adressed to me. I was a bit freaked out and carefully opened it,,,,only to find a very soft and squishy Monokuma (Danganronpa) in the package. I have 0 memory of ordering this and none of my friends ordered it. When the hell did I order despair bear....maybe he fedxed himself...

Lol!! Well that sounds like something fun to surprise yourself with!

I am out of town at the moment and yesterday I freaked out because I couldn't find my bra.... (was trying to make sure my clothes stayed all together so I don't leave anything behind at my Aunt's house) yeah.... I had it on. gonk Guilty of doing the same with sunglasses. Freak out because I think that I've lost my favorite pair only to discover them on the top of my head.

Oh wow, that's pretty good forgetting. Unless you got someone else's package by mistake and now they're crying alone. ; n ;

I remembered yesterday a dream-like vague recollection of badmouthing a former friend to a mutual friend over voice chat and had to think real hard before I could recover most of the convo. I was super anxious because I couldn't everything I'd said about him. I don't normally go on rants about people but he's just so self-centered. I was worried I had come across as a bigger douche than him though until I could remember most of my rant.

The thing I forget sometimes that I hate the most is when I'm working. I'll have a crappy day at work but I'll be okay because I know I have the next day off and then I get home and check my schedule and I'm working. Then I cry I little. Or a lot, depending.

I went into work one day when I was off (forgot to adjust the schedule because I had originally needed the day off) so since I had the key, I scared my coworker. XD;

The second year I had worked for my local parks department, I worked an event that was held one evening a week for the whole summer. Therefore, I was responsible for the key that went to one of the storage garages that held all of the stuff needed for the event. Most of the county parks are close to my house, but this particular park was 20 minutes away (not like that's far, but the others are like 5 minutes away lol). I was maybe 3 minutes away from the park when I suddenly realized that I forgot the key back at my house. I should've kept the dang thing on my key ring or in my car, lesson learned. So I had to call my coworker who worked the same event and apologize, drive about 20 minutes back home to get the key, then 20 minutes to the park again. By that time the event was supposed to begin in like 5 minutes so all of these families are simply waiting around and my coworker and I still had to set everything up. Oops.

Fortunately no one gave me crap. All the parents with their kids (who were about 4 years old) were there but they were totally cool. I got lucky that I had a good group that summer lol.

I guess it was two years ago, around November. I was casually checking my bank account to see if I could buy a loaf of bread for lunch. I was surprised to hear the balance was over $100. Well obviously I could buy lunch then. But the shock came when I found out where said money came from, it turned out I had overpaid a now terminated satellite TV service. I hadn't known about it until then. That day I treated my self buying a giant elephant plush, Moy Sloneeka. Zamardai Moyo.

When I was a little kid, I received an awesome aluminum lunch box with The Powerpuff Girls on it, my favorite show at the time. I put a cutie tangerine and a handful of m&m's inside, and set it in the corner of my room.

Well, I rarely cleaned my room as a kid. It got buried under various things, and I forgot about it for probably 6 months to a year. When I found it again, I was really excited! "Oh yeah, that awesome lunchbox! I should start using this." So, I opened it up.

The smell was putrid. Forget old oranges on their own, moldy oranges and melted chocolate is one of the worst smell combinations you can have. Old tomatoes and melons are some of my other least-favorite smells. Anyway, I think I threw out the lunchbox rather than attempting to sanitize it.

Though not forgotten, a twenty year old Lego figure I dropped in a hollow brick wall is within recovery. My aunt living there told me the wall is crumbling and the prospect to get that part of my youth is near.

I used to dog walk for another company (I still do, just not with them), and time was always of the essence as my schedule was generally jam-packed on a daily basis. I once drove 20 minutes to my first dog's house, only to discover I had left my lanyard full of keys back home. I was so angry haha!

But I am generally quite a forgetful person, which is not so good. Thankfully it doesn't happen with work very often, but when it does it can be quite frustrating...
