Hi everyone,
I'd love to ask what the best use for spare or double items is right now. I usually donate or send items as gifts to other users but is there something else I can use my 'unwanted' for? I know about vending in your own shop, anything else?
You can frag items into humming power crystals for use in the crystal shop. Low valued Rare items guarantee at least 1 crystal, sometimes 2. Lower rarities might give a crystal, might not. High value does not mean you will get more though so I don't recommend doing it for expensive stuff
You can save duplicates for Recycle Beast and check what he asks for daily.
You can make a thread on the Advertising forum to sell your unwanted duplicates at a discount.
I do a combo of the above personally. Anything less than 10k frag (so that I have less stuff to price overall), anything I have a quantity of 50+ goes into storage for future Recycle requests, and anything that doesn't fit those categories goes into a shop for the advertising forum.
Thank you so much for your advice, Moin. My shop has become so much more organized, not to mention my inventory. The crystals can go towards nice items as well I noticed. The recycle beast is also a great option.
You're welcome! You may need to tweak the strategy to find values that work for you. I just don't feel like it's worth my effort to price anything less than 10k,, but it did take some adjustments to bring me to that number. It's just nice to only have 10 or so items to price after all of my quests are done, rather than 60+ items to price, especially without the autopricer's help. You might find that you prefer to only frag items under 8k or whatever. It's really personal preference and I'm pretty sure everyone's strategy is different.
But yeah like you said, the crystal shop gets some nice retired items that you usually can't currently obtain through other means so fragging your junk does help further your collection in the long run. There are plenty of folks who buy currencies on the advertising/wanted forums too, should you decide that you eventually want to liquidate them.
