Hi, I have a question about the discount cards. I just bought a 10% one, but it doesn't seem to be working? I currently have the 15% off main shops buff, does that effect the ability to use the discount cards or is it supposed to stack on top?
Do cards stack, for example; buying like five of the 10% cards to get 50% off? Or can you only have one of each (10, 20 and 30) for a max of 60%?
Are they permanent? I'd assume so, because of their cost.
Thanks in advance for any help! :)
To my knowledge, it doesn't stack. I've had a 20% discount card in my inventory since it was gifted to me by a friend who was leaving Subeta and it's never stacked with the 15% discount buff.

Thank you! Once my 15% buff wears off, the 10% discount card should kick in then? Well, that's kinda annoying if it doesn't stack since I get the 15% buff quite often.
Yep, if you have a card, it should be there automatically when the buff wears off. (And I know, right?)

So that would mean that even with one of each discount card in the inventory (total of 60%), they'll still be turned off when I get the 15% buff? Kinda making me re-think about getting them all, because of the frequency that the 15% is given ... unless there's a way to turn that off? Lol...
Also, are you a GA member? I was wondering if you know if the Autopricer will autoprice all shops at once, or just one shop once a day? I was thinking about opening multiple shops but don't want to have to pay CSC to autoprice. Thanks so much for your help. :)
Yeah, it doesn't work like that with the discounts. Or that'd be a mad incentive for the discount cards and you wouldn't be able to find them. XD
I only have the one shop right now so I'm not the right person to ask about the autopricer. orz

20% and 30% cards together total around 150m sP, I'm assuming it's not worth it then due to the 15% buff? Thanks anyway re: autopricer :)
That depends on what you plan to do, if you restock more than I do, your saved sP number isn't going to look like this after five or so years:
"Discount Card: 919,731 sP Saved"

they dont stack in the 'literal' sense of the word..if you have a 20 and a 30 you wont get 50, youd get the 30 I think(I believe it takes the highest one of those, as I only have the 20 I can't test that theory out)..but when you get the 15 buff..I believe it takes the buff first and then takes the card amount from that..not sure who to really ask for clarification to be positive, but maybe (sorry for the ping, but Ive actually kinda been curious about that as well, thanks)
as for the autopricer it does one shop a day(unless you spend some csc to 're' autoprice the same shopnot sure that allows a 2nd one )
I don't think I RS enough to profit off 60% any time soon. :( Do you know which shops are best to RS at, or are they all pretty much the same profit-wise?
Oh really? I guess that makes some sense. It would be nicer if it stacked though. Any clarification would be amazing!!
The 15% buff DOES stack. It takes one before the other, though, and I think it takes the 15% first but I can't remember for sure.
The discount cards, however, do not stack with each other.
You can autoprice each of your shops once a day without paying anything extra as long as you have a gold account.
I had an idea it would default to the greatest value you can get out of a card vs stacking but I didn't want to say and steer someone wrong. XD
Oh, gracious... quest like a fiend, keep it under 60k sP in total items until you get padded, branch out into Wizard and Saggi, quest like a fiend or... if you can manage it... quick sP is always CSC. Subq high rarity items almost always retain their value, CS wigs...
I'm trying to think. XD; has a list of vending machines, which can be an excellent way to make a good profit especially if you have access to the Ocean Depths vending machine. (That gives out new to relatively new items within a day or two of their release, excluding Subq.)

So does the 15% buff stack with my 10% discount card, or does it ignore it since the value is lower than the buff? I'm so confused, lol.
It should take the 15% off the shop price and then the 10% off of the discounted price.
they 'stack' but not in the literal sense ie giving you a straight out 25%..it would take one off first, if Im recalling(like karen said) right it would take the buff amount off first(ie the 15) then it would take the 10 off the discounted amount
EDIT DUE TO DUMBNESS
Oh my god. I'm so dumb!! I just saw this message when purchasing things:
I see you have a discount card! I'll give you a discounted price of 48,143 sP! Common Montre Elixir has been added to your inventory. Your main shop discount buff gave you 15% (9,440 sP) off the main price!
No, I don't think it does. I've been RSing, trying to get the buff, but after more than 60 items it hasn't happened. That's really weird, because I usually get it with RSing just a handful of items. Sorry I can't test it right now, but maybe someone else can.
it actually doesn't matter which gets taken off 'before' the other because you get the same result no matter what (multiplication is commutative). let's say something costs 2000 sp in a shop, and you have a 10% discount card and the 15% bonus discount. that would look like this:
2000 x 0.90 x 0.85 = 1530
that's the same as if you took off 15% and then 10%:
2000 x 0.85 x 0.90 = 1530
I dont have the buff currently..but when you do it should have 2 things one is
I see you have a discount card! I'll give you a discounted price of with an amount and then the other should be something similar with another amount in like parenthesis I believe
All it says when you have the buff is "I see you have a discount card! I'll give you a discounted price of 273 sP! Blood Aged Scotch has been added to your inventory. Your main shop discount buff gave you 15% (69 sP) off the main price!"
The item started at 459 sP. With the 15% off it would have been 390 sP. I have a 30% discount card, though, and it ended up being 273 sP.
