I was just wondering how long it took. I fed my gourmand pet the berry a while ago and it has showed up in his foods but...he hasn't yet become female. XD Is there a delay?

You're going to need to get another one xD They don't work if you feed them to your pet. If you scroll down further, under the feeding options you'll see options to change the pet gender.

You have to "use" the item on your pet, not feed it to them.

You have to use the Gender Berry, not feed it to the pet. It has both options. If you keep scrolling past all the "Feed to" for each of your pets you should see option list switch over to "Use on".

Omg that description is so misleading! Thankfully it's my gourmand pet so no harm done really, I would have needed to feed him/her one eventually. But oh man, thanks guys! XD

It is misleading, in that there is nothing to suggest that there are two options. It needs a note added to the description like:

Yeah, exactly...it's a berry, it's food, so 'feed'...why would I scroll down further? XD At least put 'use' above 'feed' or something. The description on the Genderless Berry is much better! :)

I don't know if this has been mentioned already before, but could we possibly get a note added to the description for the Gender Berry like the one that the Genderless Berry has?

Not that I can think of right now. There are some stat boosters that are also foods, but those seem to be more straightforward. For some reason the berries seemed to confuse people the most.
