First most, I wanna apologize if this is the wrong place to ask. I'm always nervous that I'm posting in the wrong spots...
I just wanted to get some clarification on the rule of no facial feature CWs. Does this include non-human features? Such as extra eyes on the face, monstrous mouths and features, eyes not on the face, ect? I'd like to make some monster/body horror/surreal CWs in the future, but I'm not entirely certain where the line is drawn, and why.
Thank you ahead of time.
❤️ Eyes and mouths [i]not on the face[/s], probably would be alright depending on how they are. But it still might not be alright. Something that is obviously meant to be used with the base, but doesn't replace the base features.
You will have a harder time doing extra eyes on the face since they can still be argued as replacements, but that is something you'll have to experiment with. Mouths on the face, even if they are more monstrous, more than likely will get a no no matter what. Things that enhance the on-site features, however, might be allowed.
It's a rule in place just so that people aren't making facial replacements then? Thank you for helping clear this up.
❤️ hi! Additionally, it is possible to create face masks with cutout as long as it is obvious that it is a mask!
In the case of extra eyes, they could be added onto the 'mask' - i agree with that it might be harder to get accepted if the eyes are 'on the base' because staff doesn't allow what they call 'replacement of base features'.
Im not too sure why we cant, they said that base features were reserved for official art. As far as I know they've never budged on that position despite the multiple requests to draw cw lips/eyes etc ;c
