3+ days ago I clicked on "Romantic, Flushed" and it turned green. Didn't pay attention to whether or not it took sP. However, at the top of the page since then, it has had a red bar that says "I've changed my mind! I don't want to be infected!"

That would lead me to believe I am infected. But it's been more than 3 days and I've gotten no notice about having a virus and the healer doesn't see anything wrong with me. I thought it would take longer if you weren't actively being bitten by other players, but this seems ridiculous.

You don't need to be bitten, biting only speeds it up. I'm not sure why you aren't infected though since it's been 3 days. It may just be something to do with the queue being backed up or something.

If you're sure it has bewn over 3 days and you wait a bit more and it still hasn't started, maybe filing a ticket may help? At this point though you just need infected before surviva ends because it'll still develop afterward

glad you could find some biters! hopefully you won't need too many to get infected =) that's why I stuck with this year's strains though, didn't want to have to rely on biters.

I don't understand why anyone would think a queue would be a good idea, especially if you can get stuck with 3-4 day waits to even start an infection. :(

I don't mind the queue, but the wait times are long if you can't get biters. I hate having to rely on other people. I kinda wish there was a 5 mil INFECT ME NOW option next year so I could just look through the strains I don't have and pick one without worry. There's a suggestion on S&I on how to improve survival and I think speeding it up is one of the ideas on it

That would definitely be an improvement. Here's hoping they implement it for next year!

When you post on the Survivor forum it tells you if you're infected in a box below your HA. It will either say Bite or Infected. That's another way to check. Good luck!

Even after all that waiting, it's still taken me 11 bites (6 of which had around 4-5 minute wait times) to get your infection going... and I still haven't managed it. I'm determined, though. We'll get ya, Back to long waits, though; I'm not sure what's happening. [edit]Done on bite 12!
