Apps don't have to be terribly detailed. Just enough to let me know you're gonna have fun with her and not let her name idle out in a year, since I've had her for 10+ years. That would suck.
OOOOOOMG! Natalie!! The name! It's my lil' cousins name! I would love to adopt her. Have her TC full of baby items! And make a story all about her! Her birth, her adoption and the start of her new life. Since she's only 2. Pets finished : Azana, Serrated, Wavelength, Vos, Startalon, Nolla, Scuffs. The rest are in various stages of completion.

Natalie has been a name that I've always liked a lot, so it's a given that I have to try my hand at an application for her. I think it would be pretty cool to own the pet on my favorite site -- Subeta! I will put my application for Natalie in the spoiler below :)

Let me start off by saying that I just recently got into the "pet part" of Subeta. I used to be addicted to wearables and dressing my human avatar, but within the past few months I've discovered how fun it is to design pet characters and come up with ideas and stories for them. So far, 6 of my pets have profiles, and themed treasure chests. Only one of my pets has a story right now, but they all will soon. I'm trying to decide if I want them to be intertwined in each other's stories, or all separate, or some mixed and some separate. It's a work in progress but I'm having fun getting involved with the pet aspect of Subeta :) I intend on adopting Natalie because I love her name very much, and her species/color combo is a huge bonus. Angelic pets are my favorite pet color, but unfortunately are so costly, so I only have one (Marilyn Monroe) currently. My plans for her would be to get some art commissioned, and get her a pretty profile, most likely by the amazing . You can check out my pets (Lilyana, Kayla, Didda, Alfalfa, Marilyn Monroe, Milk with Biscuits) to see their profiles, if you'd like :D My idea for Natalie's story is to make her an angelic fairy who goes around and helps troubled pets find their place in the world. I would enjoy filling up her treasure chest with fairy and angel related items, as well as some toys and books for the young pets she looks after. ~

- I would love to apply for Natalie but it is her DOB that interests me most ^^; All bar a couple of my pets have dobs in the years 2006-07 and I am trying to keep them all close together. I also have the intention of creating an angelic kora, I was going to turn Neath in to one. I wanted to register my interest just in case but I imagine you will choose someone who wants her for her name ^^

So most of my inspiration for Natalie comes from this beautiful video of Chinese-American ice skater, Karen Chen.
As a child, Natalie suffered from a rare disorder called Guillain-Barre syndrome where her immune system attacked her peripheral nervous system and caused paralysis throughout a large portion of her body which caused her to be confined to a wheelchair. While the disorder isn't permanent, it did result in leg weakness and abnormal tingling that would plague her throughout most of her childhood even after she resumed walking.
During her time in a wheelchair and through all of the treatment and therapy, Natalie's mother would play movies and videos for her, specifically of dancing and ice skating. Natalie had always had a love for the grace in the visual arts and before being diagnosed, she would daydream about learning how to skate. Even though Natalie detested her condition and upset that she couldn't experience a normal childhood, as well as the fact that she had lingering symptoms that limited her activity, Natalie decided to pursue her once flighty daydreams of becoming an ice skater.
Basically, Natalie's story is about a person dealt with an undesirable hand and learning how to overcome her fears to pursue an almost impossible dream. Obviously, there's a lot of research that will be involved in this. I just wanted to make a strong and somewhat independent young girl.
There are several allusions to birds (I honestly have a lot of characters tied with birds since i love birds), particularly the Flicker bird since Natalie typically saw them during the summer when her condition was at its worst before they migrated the south for the winter.
I have some completed pets like Automaton, DeWitt, and Minuet. I've been working on several pets, though mostly Fionna and Unkindled at the moment. I'm also working on Bond's design and story).

Ooh I'm interested in adopting her! I've been on Subeta for over 12 years now, and I still have my first pet, Lupus, so I definitely understand about being attached after having them for so long. I like making stories for my pets, filling their treasures, and getting them artwork/profiles. My recently finished pet is Hiroka, who I've also had for a long long time. I think I might change Natalie into an Ontra, whom I'd get custom artwork for, based off of a sea otter. Her story would be about spending time close to the shore but one day waking up far away from the coastline. It would basically be about her adventure finding her way back, and meeting other creatures along the way who either help or distract her in some way. I think it would be fun to tell about her character and how she grows from the journey and experience of being lost, and how friendships change her; how when she finally returns she feels very different than when she left.
