Hi, I am new too and had to figure out the wardrobe. If its the same issue I had, and I think it is, you have to drag the base to the bottom of the list. So eyes,mouth,hair and everything else is above it. There is a list at the left side of your wardrobe. Lots more info and experience on this board:
