It was great fun taking part in the event with y'all but on the 10th March I will be deleting this group.

I don't see the reasoning behind deleting this Group, when you open up Team Blake Social Club instead? Sorry, I'm a Vulcan and I cannot detect the logic in this step ;-)

I see 's point. Since we're now finalizing everything for the original group, why not just repurpose this group as the social club, and people who don't want to be pinged anymore can just leave the group? (then you also don't have to transfer funds over)

This group was only ever for the event and not for socialising. When this group started to be pinged to social threads many members were very upset and that is why I stopped people being able to ping the group and set up the social group.

A majority of members did not join the social group leading me to the conclusion that they do not wish to take part in any social aspect.

Therefore I am going with the majority of members in this group and disbanding. I am sorry if you are unhappy about this but the social club is available.

I'm not unhappy, I was just thinking about what would take the least amount of work xD I think people were understandably upset about being pinged to social threads previously because the event part wasn't quite over yet (e.g. the issue of funds was still up in the air). But now that last part's getting resolved, I thought it might have been easier for you guys to just repurpose the group and get to keep our original name. Members could leave the group on their own if they were no longer interested.

But your method makes total sense if only a minority of members are interested in being in the social group. In my mind, I overestimated and thought a majority joined the social group, haha.

By all means make a thread with this suggestion and support for it.

Do not worry about the work I am making myself as I don't mind and would rather get things moving as people have been waiting a long time for a resolution to the bank.
