If your infected..that means you shouldn't put on another skin and bite people right? because the infected skin your going for might disappear if you change into another skin..is that right? or it won't let you bite other people?
yeah! I'm also curious about skins and taking on and off and which one is the one you bite with. when the strain finishes progressing, does that mean you can take it off and ask for other strain-biters? I'm unclear on how to start collecting all the zombie skins... o.O

It won't let you bite someone with a skin you are wearing while infected with something else.
When your virus reaches final stage you can remove it on skin page in wardrobe and then get infected with another strain.
- from what your post said, it makes it sound like I can remove a complete strain, get healed, and then get infected again with a new strain? the Healer only does pets... what do I do to heal my HA?

Once you have reached the final stage you can remove the skin in the wardrobes' skin section. You can later put it back on if you want as you've so to say unlocked it.
I cannot bite to spread my current infection, but I've been putting on old skins for a couple of days to help people get the older ones. It does work.

Yep. Just go to your wardrobe and put on a skin. It will layer itself under your current infection, but you can still bite with it. Not sure yet if it'll work once we can bite with our current infections, but we're good to go with at least the early stages.

Nope! I'm still progressing with Dissolving, which I signed up for when the event started, and I've used about every old skin I have to infect others. IIrc, there's a day or two between when we get the ability to bite with our new infections and the time it becomes a wearable skin. I honestly don't know if we can safely wear old skins during those days. Unless I mess up somehow and do it unintentionally, I probably am too chicken to try it. lol [edit]Sorry for the extra ping, but I have an update! Curiosity got the best of me when I saw that I'm able to bite with Dissolving today. I'm working on someone's Doom Bloom now, and it looks like it's still okay!
- This is the last time I'll ping you guys here, I promise, but ONE LAST EDIT! It is possible that doing this does regress your progression a bit. I could swear before I did this last one that Gunner said I was ready to bite, but now... I'm not. I can't imagine that it set it back a whole lot, because I'm still seeing the latest version of the virus, but if you're gonna do this, PROCEED WITH CAUTION. Yeah. Never mind this part for now. confirmed my temporary insanity. We still need to wait and see.

As many as I've helped with, it would have done that by now if it was going to. Like I said, it really can't be by much. Unless y'all are seeing my avatar differently than I am, I still see myself at the current stage (as stated by the progression thread), and will hopefully be able to bite again soon-ish. I do agree that either we should be able to help without penalty or not be able to put on an old skin, though. I'm not angry about it, but I sure as the Darside am not happy about it... especially since I dragged all you guys into this with me. Pissed will be if I find out that I've turned all these people into the wrong dang thing, but I think there are enough safeguards in the forum itself where that can't even happen.
I don't think it would do that. It only lets you bite if you have a certain skin unless you picked random.
