I wanted to know..is it possible to get two strain in one zombie event each year?

Yes, it's possible to get more than one strain during the event! For the past couple of years, a lot of people have been able to get 3-4 strains per event. You just have to time them well and try to get a new strain started as soon as your current one finishes.
