I got infected with one of the new viruses. I was online when they announced the start of survival, so I didn't have to wait too long for mine to show up. You can see it by my feet, that little plant. Every so often (I think it's like 12-24 hours?) a new phase of the infection appears. You get to watch the progression of the virus until you get to the end. Once you've reached the final stage, you can unlock the virus skin as a skin in the Wardrobe, and take it off, and then get reinfected for a new skin :D

I think I managed to get 4-5 skins last year. Also there is a page on Subetalodge HERE where you can view the strains from years past and their progressions.

You can see the old skins in the wardrobe under skins, or on subetalodge here Obviously this does not include the new ones. They're new. There's a tracking board over on the survival forums but I can't get it to load to link you

You can only be bitten if you're not infected, and you can only bite after like stage three I think?

So the virus skins are not permanent and can be taken off? Cool. Thanks! I was gonna ask but you answered my question already.
