So I'm not sure if this really belongs here or somewhere else. If it needs to be moved then please tell me.
I dunno if this is a new thing or if I'm just now noticing it because I tend to be a bit slow on the uptake... So recently I was exploring Subeta and yesterday I realized that the Carnival had a night time overlay to it (in real life it was after dark in my part of the world). Today I visited Darkside to do some of my dailies (I zap my pet every day) and there's an overlay of rain / overcast skies... Is this new or what? Is there weather and day / night on Subeta now?? Or has this always been a thing that I just now 'took in' for some reason?
[edit]The overcast / rainy skies can be seen pretty much anywhere outside right now as far as I know. At least for me.
The rain overlay shows up in every land for a random 3 hours every Monday, and while it's raining there is a somewhat higher chance to receive a random event from Tempest.
The night overlays show up whenever it's night in that particular land. You can see the timezone page in the Subetapedia under the Locations section.
[edit]And the Tempest rain has been around for a few years now, I'm pretty sure. The timezones are still relatively new, but they've been around for a good few months at least.
Gotcha. So apparently I'm just now noticing it then. Lol. That's good to know either way. It's such a cool and unique idea. I haven't really been active on Subeta for the past couple of months due to health issues and my job.
Even before any other location on Subeta got any rain or a night sky, Shadowglen had weather. This has been true ever since the Ecks/Skitters/Fantine site event, so it's been awhile.
The skies there were random, and one of those is rain and another is nighttimer The rain in Shadowglen has nothing to do with Tempest, and the sky of Shadowglen can be dark when it's not night there.
I wouldn't feel too bad, I'm still noticing things after a while and I'm on almost every day and have been for 4 yrs XD <3 That being said, I hope times are better for you soon.
Interesting. Thanks for the extra info. I was a lot more active back then, but I don't really remember the sky or weather changing in Shadowglen. I don't pay too much attention to that sort of thing though or I might not have been on during the proper times to actually witness it.
Hehe. I guess it's hard to see everything and you can still be surprised. I always think that it's an especially good day whenever I learn something new though. :) Thank you so much for the well wishes. I'm doing better now so I've become more active and I'm starting to visit every day again.
The rain increases your chances of getting a visit from the Tempest? Cool! I never knew that!
