I turn the big 3-0 tomorrow!

I asked my mom if we were going to do anything and she said no. I asked if we can get Chinese food and she said "Do you think your dad will order it?" I highly doubt it, so, she asked what I wanted. I said one thing and she said no. I said another and she said "No. You're getting chicken". Well, what was the point of asking me? Every year I never get what I want for supper.

I'd like a drink or two, but I can't because my brother has an appointment Friday afternoon and then I work after, 5pm-9pm. I also work Saturday, 9am-5:30pm and Sunday, my usual shift.

Wow, you parents are kind of...uh...not very nice, are they? I'm sorry, you should get everything you want on your birthday. You deserve it. I'm sorry it looks like your parents aren't into your birthday. That's not very nice. I would at least make you a cake or something if I could, but I don't think cakes ship well, lol. Try to have a good day anyways, huh? Think of Buddy and your other critters and know that they love you! Maybe Buddy'll give you some bday kisses. hugs

As of tomorrow you are 30 years old (happy early birthday ^-^ ) It's not exactly doable in my opinion to get everything you want for your birthday, but if you really want a certain dinner? Why not get/order/make it yourself?? .-.

I know. I really wanted to go to the new Japanese Restaurant that opened in town. I'm not even getting cake because I'm diabetic ._.

I tend to focus on my age if its a prime number. The next one for me isn't until 2019, when I'll be 37. But this year it'll be just 35. Meh, in my count I'll be five, but in May of 2018. Close to my human birthday...

Wow that's pretty lame.. At the very least you should get what you want on your birthday, especially something as simple as supper. =(

Surprised your parents aren't into celebrating with you though (and since when does anyone put an age on things like gift-giving? Sorry but your dad's co-workers don't seem like the most generous bunch!). Anyway, if your parents aren't willing to join in the festivities, I hope you find something fun to do today. Treat yourself, it's your day. :)

First: Happy Birthday! That's a special birthday, the big 30. I didn't like it that much not being in my twenties anymore, lol!

And second: are your parents always like this on birthdays? Hopefully they don't expect any gifts of anything special for theirs as well. It's not that much trouble to just order what you want to eat, I really don't understand that they would just say no? That's really not nice at all.

Can you do anything for yourself for your birthday? I know it's lame, but sometimes it's nice to get yourself a little something or make yourself a cake. Especially if you're feeling like no one else is as worried about your birthday. Your baby bird would probably enjoy it :)
