heya guys, i'm here :D it was so hard and i missed you all soooo much.. so i decided with much consideration to cut my hiatus down a week or so. just may possibly not be here as often. <3 
i have figured what i want to do, finally.. now i just have to work to get there, ugh. i have been working on upgrading my guinea pig cage, again *dances*. will be getting chickens this year.. hoping for 5 but depends on my funds. been trying to narrow down a top five favourites with extras just in case, for my mixed flock of ladies. ;P i have cleaned and rearranged a lot of the house, my early spring cleaning lol. 
i plan on growing herbs and some veggies this year. the lovely lady who's blog i have fallen in love with has suggested starting off with some and not too much, as too not overwhelm oneself.
Marcus turned 3 today, oh my.. lol. it was a fun day with more toys for me to play with for him to play with and yummy cake, num. 
i finally have realized that i am stuck in this crappy town and have to make the best of it by making it better for myself and the family. got a family doctor, finally, yes 😁 things are finally getting better. <3 
i started a BuJo and am loving it.. keeps everything i need in one place and shows me when my bad habits arise.. which is too often for my liking, really. :/ still working on my setup for it.. but am enjoying the things you can mod to be YOU. 
i would like to start a page on Facebook for my homesteading progress, if i make any, and would like some kooky ideas as the farm name will be different and come later, haha ^^ i was thinking something along the lines of backyard or barnyard chicka or homestead chick?

i will get around to events here soon-ish
birthday ladies i will get to you guys one at a time after i get some sP goin' from quests tomorrow, hopefully, ASAP at least :3

if there is anything you think i may need to know that i may have missed in the new news or wasn't there, please share.. i would love to know.

yes, sure thing, i will have to take a picture when done.. doing in small intervals as the zap straps hurt my fingers/hands after a while. hoping to start part 1 of 2 for Moe and Joe today. hubby and i had gerbils years ago.. we used to breed them for the local pet store :)

thank you dear, oh shoot.. i have decided i want to homestead but it is going to be a long process from where we are now. can't wait till the snow melts so i can start a little more on the progress. :3 need to move my veggy beds and get them filled with poop so i can grow some veggies this year :D but in the meantime i do have a homesteading book to read.. and more to order <3

yea.. i am making it all one GIANT cage with three sections for everyone. hoping to go back to fleece as i am actually allergic to shavings but that hasn't stopped me yet.. just itchy. ;-;

yes, i can't wait to get them.. hoping to be able to fix up the chicken coop more the way i would like before i need to get them at the Critter and Craft sale in April :D then maybe i can make homemade goodies with fresh eggs.. or sell 'em

Sounds like it's going to be HUGE - I'm sure the guinea pigs will love it <3 and I'm allergic to animals but I love them too much haha ;-;

and it would be so nice to have fresh eggs but I could never own chickens.. no space or anything for them here :c Just a regular boring house! Plus, I don't think my kitty/doggy would ever appreciate having chickens around haha

it will be.. has to be big enough for 6 piggies and some can't be together due to being male and females as well as a male who doesn't get along with the others.

i couldn't not be able to farm and have animals.. it's just always the starting that gets me done for.. but i can do this, i can

usually i have a hell of a time during winter but have been fighting the depression pretty good this season except for those fun women days, ha

So glad your back and full of energy. I hope you post pictures with the new additions to your farm as you get them. Make sure to call any animal intended for food, a food name. My sister did this so her kids understood, they couldnt be pets like inside pets from the house. That way, when they suddenly arent there the kids will get used to it.

lol thanks but i grew up just learning that food animals were meant for the plate no matter the name.. i think that's why i could eat and joke about my 4h steer at the banquet and if they purchased someone else's steer they would cry.

Well then, it will be easy for your attitude to be shared with your kids and it will seem normal to them. All though my grandma named one of her cows after a mean tempered neighbor, because the cow acted the same. Well one day, one of the kids hollered Mrs. Murphy is coming. Well turns out the cow and the neighbor were coming toward them at the same time. The kids were laughing and fighting to keep a straight face, so the neighbor didnt figure out the joke was about her. My aunts and uncles laughed for years about it.
