i'm really happy i got wilde, even though i forgot at the time of clearing. so, i was wondering is anyone who likes oscar wilde a bunch could help me brainstorm color ideas? either something that represents him, or the contents of any of his books.. :p i have been thinking about it a bit but i'd really love some other people's input! i can fall short with just my own brain :D

My favorite Oscar Wilde novel is Portrait of Dorian Gray so I based my pet decisions off of that. I think the Graveyard Donadak is a good representation of the plot( i.e. Dorian gray staying young forever externally while his painted portrait showed his true character and the ugly rot within).

Bloodred Lain because Gothic and I just think it works for a Gothic novel inspired pet.

Glacier Demi-outwardly beautiful, cold, etc..

I also think the glacier irion might work because that lazy expression I think with an overlay could represent indolence and hedonism.

ohhh my!! those are terrific suggestions! i was definitely either thinking of a dorian gray one, or something to represent his whimsical cleverness of a lot of his plays. i'm really torn between the graveyard donadak and glacier demi. the irion is good but i'm not a personal fan of them in general.

My first thought was nostalgic, actually, perhaps Jollin or Lain, they've got a certain beauty to them, and if Wilde was fond of anything, it would have been all things luxurious and beautiful x) And the Lain reminds me of The Nightingale and the Rose and in general his other fairy tales.

The GY Donadak and BR Lain would also be really fitting though, and they're such gorgeous pets too - Graveyard Illumis could also work, if you want to focus more on the Gothic vibe.

I was thinking some color of Bumbus might be appropriate, considering the photos of Wilde in his iconic fur collar.

Do you have any idea which direction you're going in?

If you want to take the Gothic route I'd say go ahead with the Bloodred Lain, but if not, Nostalgic Jollin would work really well.
