Text too long using a spoiler for first big part.
Ok lets start trimming away at the easier problems and work inward. Ditch the haircut or cut it yourself if you can't wait. Over the counter is fine, just use as directed. Same with any medication.
Sleep apnea and sleeping meds yeah that is not a good mix and.... O-O Hon less than 7 hours is not insomnia to my understanding. Sounds like a good time to go off them in any case with the new diagnosis and money issues. It should also reduce your pharmacy bill if that is not covered.
Save up for the machine and mask. Do the math and divide out the cost into amounts of money you can afford to set aside every week/month from your budget. If you can't afford it now that's not going to immediately change so be good about how much you save to speed up the time table.
... Ok also going to wade in on something I see 'cause while I don't know or what the CSC is for? I recognize you've rather put them into a corner just now .n. in our society there is often just one accepted way to respond to a post like that followed by "Sorry can't pay you because of that", which is to say "It's ok." even if it's not ok. So whether or not the CSC issues is ok or not...I'm telling you I don't think your way of communicating your situation to them was ok.
They/Themtruly, when it rains it pours - i know and understand that feeling! and i understand why you can't pay. i haven't had time to get started on anything yet, so there are no loose ends, don't worry : ) i'd rather you prioritise health things than subeta. i wish i knew of ways to help, but healthcare is much different in denmark (it covers things, for starters), so i don't have any tips and tricks.
Wow. I'm so sorry you have to deal with all this crap. You might try tea tree oil for the fungal infection. A bottle usually costs $10 or less and it's good for a lot of things. I'm in a similar situation financially. I've got this bill from a store where I had a credit card and I thought it was paid off, because I hadn't gotten anything from them in months. Then I get a bill from them yesterday and it says I have $82 of late charges and owe at least $130 total right now ($400+ total). I can't pay that, so I'm going to have to call them and ask them why I owe them late charges if they never sent me anything saying I owe anything in the first place. I think someone may have stolen that card number somehow. I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to call though, since I'm at work right now and they'll be closed by the time I get out.
6 to 7 hours of sleep is enough if it's good, sound sleep. If you are not sleeping well, it doesn't matter how much you sleep, you will still feel tired. It's not insomnia but it can feel like it. Like Dot said, you need to prioritize that CPAP machine. It'll take scrimping and saving but the machine should make a world of difference.
As for toenail fungus... Get a small container of Vick's VapoRub. Apply the VapoRub to the affected toenail once a day. Use gloves or clean your hands thoroughly after to keep from transferring the fungus elsewhere. Sanitize any nail clippers or nail files you use on that nail before using them on healthy nails. It doesn't have to be a thick layer but it does need to fully cover the nail, including the exposed underside at the end. It's weird but my dad (who was a Type 2 diabetic) and I both used this on our afflicted toenails and as the nail grew out the fungus went with it. (It was suggested to him by a home health aide who had apparently seen it used in nursing homes.) Bear in mind, it takes a long time to get rid of - no matter the treatment - and the nail probably won't ever be exactly the same, because the treatments don't really "heal" the nail so much as they kill the fungus.
[edit] Also, if you have an incision from the procedure at the foot and ankle center, you will want to wait for it to heal before using VapoRub. That stuff really stings if you get in an open wound, at least from my experience.
I ended up buying a bottle. The instructions inside the box says to use it for 48 weeks (which is 11 months). Toenails grow slow, so I know I need to be patient. The fungus isn't all over the nail, just on the side and my nail has a stress mark down the middle. Healthy toenails don't do that, that's why I went to the clinic.
I have a fungus under my big toe. We think I got it at the gym. I'm planning to get it partly removed since I refuse to take the medication (it's not good for your liver).
Gyms and pools/public showers at gyms and pools are a breeding ground for warts and fungus. I'm not taking oral anti-fungus, it's just a bottle of nail polish treatment.
