I have a question for those living in the UK or New Zealand. I'm from the US and I'm interested in going to school in England or New Zealand for my Master's Degree in Russian History. I have a Bachelor's Degree in History. I'm not sure exactly where to start to looking. I know it's more expensive to live in London, so I'm hesitant to look there. Any advice would be wonderful and I'd really appreciate it.

New Zealand is an awesome place! I'm not sure what universities offer there in the way of Russian History, seems like it might be a bit niche for New Zealand. If possible avoid Auckland, it's a lot more expensive than any of the other university cities. And depending on where in Auckland you live commuting can be hell.

I studied at Otago, it's probably the most beautiful university in New Zealand with many historical buildings. But also very much a party university and gets very cold and damp in winter. As for other universities, I'm not really sure. Hope that helps, if you want to know anything about New Zealand (or possibly the UK, I moved there six months ago) feel free to ping me.

I'll take a look in it, thanks! I haven't been able to find any programs in New Zealand but I have found a couple in the UK and the Netherlands.
