This is combining two ideas into one thread. Considering Shengui Guo seems to be a rather rainy location I was wondering if Dara would be able to get his hands on some more cute little rain-based minions that aren't aquatic. Staff have been really creative with some of the bizarre and strange minions we have already, I wonder if influencing these minions with some more cute Yokai would be good? -cute little blobby guys that use leaf umbrellas to run around all day -minions that specifically enjoy rainy weather and maybe have super thick fur to keep out water -maybe some of these minions are only visible before it rains, or have some connection to the weather -there could be minions that seek shelter in the trees and make little leaf shelters -minions that enjoy standing water and mud to find food -some little goofball with long legs that likes splashing it puddles? We have so many minions for snowy weather, that live in the desert, that make their homes in volcanos or clouds, I'd love to see some geared towards other weather, this weather specifically lol.
Also wondering if maybe Tempest could set loose some stormy troublemakers on Mondays when she visits, or however this could possibly be made to work. A grumpy little stormy cloud would be amazing, similar to the many cloud-themed stickers that have faces. I know staff in the past usually release a line of a few earth creatures based on a theme minions in previously before and maybe things like a snake, bird of some sort, cat, dog, etc. would be easy enough.
(just adding in a few more notes here)
We do already have two grumpy storm cloud minions from when Tempest first became a thing on site, they're called lightning sylphs. Tempest also drops Rolling Storm Matter, Storm Salmons, and a Thunderbutton. I'm pretty sure we have two different rodents-under-leaf minions too, the kasakko is it's own umbrella and the kappa is a marshy rainy thingy.
All the other ideas, though those would be excellent. There are a number of interesting amphibians that could be modified to be Rainy.
