So if I read this the way I usually write my dates the date would be the 12th of September. But I know some people/places write it differently so I don't know if Subeta means the way I read it or that they mean December 9th?
Thanks.
The date would be December 9th! On subeta, dates are mm/dd/yyyy format.
Thank you. :)
Generally speaking, mm/dd/yyyy is considered a standard American format. It's my understanding that it's typically the other way around (dd/mm/yyyy) across the pond, according to my British former-coworker. :)
Heck, I don't even know what's standard here in Canada. We're such a mish-mash up here. I've left myself a note on my sidebar notepad for future reference. :)
Wikipedia tells me that YYYY/MM/DD is preferred in Canada -- interesting! But it also says that the other two are common, as well. xD
Yeah I looked it up to and I found..
All three main types are used in Canada – in French and in English Social Insurance applications for Canada use DMY format. Passport applications and tax returns use YYYY MM DD. Immigration Canada Stamps use DD/MM/YYYY and Canada Customs Stamps use MMM/DD/YYYY. Nearly all English newspapers use MDY (MMM[M] D, YYYY).
SUCH A MESS.
