Well sorta. I don't know the details really but it's just something that needs redrawn and priority isn't given to old items usually because artists are always working on new ones.

The linked thread is from two years ago. I'm failing to understand it can take that long for a staff member to find files whereas CW artists are expected to do so instantly.

Also, the item was released FOUR years ago. That thread was asking about it after TWO. Like, I don't even redeem wigs, but that's some bullshit. Get your shit together Subeta and get it redrawn already.

[topic not found] This topic is 3+ years old now (from Morostide) and supposedly the artist still has the files, they just need to be uploaded. So not to be bitchy or anything but it'd be nice if there could be time to get these kind of things fixed in a reasonable amount of time, and not 3-4 years after the fact.

It actually wasn't on my mind until I saw this thread, haha. There ARE functional female bases now, but the outline is missing from them (I only took a screenshot of Spectrum but Blacklight is like this too)

Oh there are tons of things that do get fixed right away! It is different because even when we post that something is fixed, only the people who reported it or have posted on the bug forums notice the fix. Which is probably something like less than 5% of the site. So there is a lot of stuff on a daily basis that goes on behind the scenes. And when that stuff is competing with new content that needs to be released or things that don't work, sometimes it gets unintentionally forgotten.

It's not an excuse...it just happens.

Guys, there's no excuse. New content is not an excuse. Busy artists are not an excuse. Events are not an excuse. Even lost files are not an excuse. Why does such an expensive CASH item not have your priority? For the sake of the same Delish line like eight times? Not good enough and not good at all. It's been four years. And citing YEARS OLD FORUM POSTS is pretty dang shameful. This was not at all being worked on or thought about until someone just complained. What does get fixed right away is NOT a mitigating factor here and shouldn't even be mentioned. You failed here. Citing what you think is good about what you do is what you do to bosses who are about to fire you, not what you tell your customers. Just say you'll fix it and leave it at that.

I, for one, am satisfied with how this thread was resolved by staff, even though I've wanted that wig redeemable for years too. Subeta is a site of constantly growing/evolving content that continuously needs to be updated simultaneously as new stuff is being introduced. The artists do revamps and improvements to old items, pets, and NPCS ALL THE TIME. I can see how this item fell by the wayside, and the fact that a single thread was made a few years back doesn't mean that those involved could drop what they were doing and stop to focus on the request. I mean, maybe some of you don't have "real world" jobs yet, but this isn't how it works. In an ideal world, sure, you could stop current tasks to focus on the customer request, but look at how many suggestions/ideas/requests/feedback threads there currently are + counting. There would literally need to be one dedicated artist who just monitored these threads to draw and implement user requests. And Subeta doesn't have that, so they do the best they can. Long story short, the item is being redrawn so that it's redeemable, AKA the issue has been resolved. I mean, I know it's cool to shit on staff and complain about everything, but can we not focus on the positives? Someone made a thread, staff came and heard, and now changes are being made. Not every business offers that (even though they all advertise it).

Thank you for taking the time out of drawing two full Delish sets, pets, annual event/Holiday items, and everything else you're working on, to work on these two particular wigs and revamping them (and going through the process of editing them and all of the different layers that go into making a wig redeemable; then saving it a certain way, and uploading it all; all of which takes a hilariously long time to do). I, at least, understand drawing something doesn't take five minutes.

AND thank you to whomever coded the wigs after they were done !
