So, I drew this up but wasn't sure if people would even be interested in this kind of wig, since we have so many amazing ponytails already. Also debating selling the design instead of releasing it. SO, what I am wondering is:
Note: I am going to edit the little bit that is too close to the eyebrow, making the hairline a bit more rounded there.personally I think it's gorgeous!
Omg the shading is really gorgeous. I'm floored by those cuuuurls. It's a little too "full" for my taste. I have a hard time with color balance issues when one arm isn't visible, I have no clue if other people are /that/ picky. I made a crappy edit of a less full version I'd like to see you do if you ever do another similar style. (BOOP.)
Either way, I think this is beautiful and I'm sure it'll do really well!

Lovely hair indeed! I too am one that doesn't really like the one arm fully covered by hair, I find it hard to work with. 's edit there is quite nice actually, but overall the shading is lovely and the style I do like and otherwise would be interested if not so much of it was covering the HA. lol. I know a lot of ppl don't mind, but, I am picky too. xD; Hope you get more feedback to know what's best to do! =D (I'd prolly say don't scrap it tho ^^)
I'll edit it a bit once I get to selling it, to take out some of the fullness. Though, admittedly, not as much as Cara's edit :p
Thanks ! =3
But yeah, I am one of those people that love a lot of hair. More volume. Fill the whole space with hair. Make it look like a fashion-enthusiastic Cousin Itt.

I think it's a very nice wig. I'd def try to get a slot on this if it came in a color I'd use. (like the black)
I am in agreement that there is a lot of hair covering the one side though, and I think thinning it would really help, and give it that air of not really just being another ponytail since your style is very different than other artists. You could also consider putting the ponytail behind the HA but I'm not sure what that'd look like =P
Personally what really sells me on stuff is the colors though. Like me, some of your color likes are in the minority (practically no one likes brown and I'm all for it tbh) but I'd consider finding some nice onsite items in a couple different colors to show outside your comfort zone. (Such as a blond, maybe a light pink or pastel something or other, etc.)
Thanks ! =3
One reason why I like the extra volume on things is actually for the layering ! If I didn't have that, then it wouldn't layer as well behind the HA. Black being one of the most versatile, I really should have done some layering when I made an example, ahahaha
I've actually been looking for a good blonde and platinum wig to reference ! PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS COMMON ! I always ask people and they just... sorta... shrug... Someone did suggest this one: But I've been lazy about trying to match it. XD
lol! That gif. xD;; I totally understand, volume can totally be fun, esp for layering purposes. I think sometimes ppl can be unhelpful when making color suggestions, but then not giving examples. It's like, well then, don't expect it to match. lol. I want to do some more wigs myself, but it's hard to sell wigs that are exceptional lately it seems... bleh. But yeah. =)
Well when I look up blonde in the wardrobe I am seeing a lot that are around these colors for platinum blonde; And for a more regular blonde I am seeing things like; And lastly Dirty blondes like;
I think it really depends on what looks good with your item specifically, which is a lot of trial and error. Maybe you don't like the way slightly purple shading looks with your items? Or things that are too brown end up looking dull and faded? Only you'd really be able to tell as you're recoloring I think.
( also likes the following: and Which is like, Dirty and then Platinum lol)
I love those blondes that posted from me haha. Sort of that really pale but not quite yet white (though we both know I love the silver/white ones too). Blonde is definitely hit or miss because people have such varied tastes, it's sad really haha.
Also, I'd love to see an example with the layering so we can get an idea of how it works (I typically don't end up wearing the ones that cover the front of the HA too much because then the outfits I'm in tend to get buried, so seeing layered HAs would help a lot for me).
Blonde is one of the harder ones, because there's SO MANY VARIANTS. White, and black too. I'll ping everyone once I've done some editing + new color swatches.
And then a lot of "well, if it were darker/lighter/etc I'd get it. IT AINT EASY. I wish we could do redeemable wigs, ahahaha
The bone wigs are similar to the one I just saved ! I just saved a few Delish wigs since they are fairly popular + redeemable.
But yeah, this is one reason why I want to do a couple of tones for each, because sometimes I recolor and go "nope, this needs to be different." ... I recently did that with my Goddess Gown. I tried matching the tan from the Delish Loyal/Sincere and it just did not look right (for what I was going for, it isn't a bad tan). And also, this way I can show people swatches and be like "PICK"
Yeah, blonde is definitely one of the hardest - and brown too, lots of shades, not a lot of colors I'd actually use within them haha. (Also I looked at that Delish one too, it's a good source of the similar color bigger).
The more examples the better when selling something =P
Yeah, SO many variants of them. And them some won't buy them if they aren't a basic shade, while others won't buy them unless they're deemed unique enough.
Bruh. You don't understand how many colors I have already. O-O Doing an example of them all would take so long.
You're talking to the person who recently organized their CW folder with almost 800 files in it. And you're also talking to the person who recently made a preview of a makeup that contained like 50+ previews so =P I see your pain and raise it a glowing stake. x'D
Hehe, like I said those curls are to die for so I can't say I blame you for wanting to keep some of the volume in it. Reminds me a little of Megara from Hercules. :3 I definitely wouldn't mind seeing the curls lost from my edit go BEHIND her arm! When going for platinums I tend to lean toward pure, neutral versions. I think my go-tos for my recolors are usually:
You win this round FOR NOW. But. Like. I didn't know how Color Match worked, cause everywhere I looked I was told to do the hue/sat method to get to specific colors. So like... 50 colors done that way. But now I can apparently match exact with just a few clicks. SOBBING. I'm going to mass color-pick from a crapton of stuff and make a bunch of swatches. It's so much easier now. QuQ
Saving that third one ! I think I have one similar to the first two already,
