I would like to know what they are and how to use them? I got it as a gift, but its a mystery to mexD

Are they made of cloth? I can't really tell what material they are from the photo. ^^;

If they are cloths, the only thing I can think of is they are some type of Tenugui, which is basically just a multi-use cloth for everything from headscarves to dish rags. The little sticks in the packaging kind of throw off my idea though, because I'm not sure why they'd be packaged with sticks. lol

They sort of look like napkins, but again the sticks totally throw me off. lol A burning ritual would be quite interesting! Anyway, I wish you luck in finding out what they are! Sorry I couldn't be of more help! ^-^

Do you have a Reddit account? There's a subreddit called r/whatisthisthing, where people, well, try to find out what such-and-such weird thing is. They're able to identify some pretty obscure stuff (they identified a fossil I found in my basement), so they may be able to help you out. Good luck!
